garry's mod is a really cool game
but we're using it as if it's an irc channel
we really should take advantage of the game, perhaps using items and such.
space station 13 does this very well, and that's why it's insanely fun, as well it's silliness, but that's a different story.
can we actually use garry's mod for serious roleplay perhaps?
just a little more LARP i suppose

agreed, though gmod tends to have that problem when it comes to rp
oh I play ss13 lots too if you want to join me

Because someone will say everyone plays DarkRP, it's making a shitty RP playerbase, blah, blah, blah. Don't say it.

DarkRP can be fun if you wanna just fool around and do shitty RP, but so far HL2RP is the most serious RP I've played. DarkRP is just where kids go wanting to have fun and think they are roleplaying but instead shooting everyone and it becomes a Cops & Robbers type thing, sadly, Harbor Roleplay is turning into that kind of thing as well.
Little Kids on any server = Ruined for everyone

Dark RP 3-4 years ago was REALLY good, barely any rule breakers from what I can remember, I came back to Gmod last year, January-February time to find it a really bad gamemode due to the fact of all the 'minges' which really annoyed me as it fun when you can actually RP on it without rule breakers.
