Or, fuking use net which basically allows you to hook into a message that is sent from client or server and there is almost 0% chance of client and server being out of sync (Due to the nature of net that resends the message multiple times if the first few fail)

74% ENTJ
12% INTJ
3% ENTP
2% ESTJ
2% ESTP

As an ENTJ, your primary mode of living is focused externally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is internal, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.

ENTJs are natural born leaders. They live in a world of possibilities where they see all sorts challenges to be surmounted, and they want to be the ones responsible for surmounting them. They have a drive for leadership, which is well-served by their quickness to grasp complexities, their ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and their quick and decisive judgments. They are "take charge" people.

Upgrade your laptop dongle to 5GHZ and also your router.

A massive amount of signals are on the 2GHZ range (standard range) and often cause internet drops, performance degradation and even range reduction. Even if you don't have any other devices connected, mobile phone signals and neighboring WIFI signals will be interfering.

CG simply isn't dying, this community is massive and I've been with it since way before the free GOLD member period.

There has been a few times when we have dropped to a point where donations are barely covering bills but we spend time on minimizing the bills and pushing through, It takes dedicated staff members to keep this going and that is what we have got.

The majority of paid developers are doing things for free currently as we are dedicated to keeping our members happy, I for one was contracted to make CGRP but I offered to keep my work free until the community is in a far better stance when the game mode everyone wants releases; CGRP.

I'll come out publicly and say that CGRP's planned release is before UK summer holidays, this will be the best time to release a gamemode and the sheer hype will bring everyone back.

We would need an event manager for certain regions and perhaps have a few meetups all on the same day at different locations, which will then be a global "Lan" party based on the CG servers (or Hamatchi).

This would most certainly bring more people to the meetups since they don't need to pay upwards of $1000 to get a decent flight somewhere.

Flappy birds 2, with tighter spaces and more clumsy controls!

P.S. Doing it in C# makes it almost directly portable to Windows Phone, which could make you some money in the end.

If this were to happen, it would need to happen somewhere central.

We have people spread around the world, USA, UK and the rest of Europe. the best place would be England as that is pretty much central to all.

General Discussion / Re: Post your PC Setup!
« on: March 11, 2014, 10:12:00 AM »
I didn't get the FX8350 for overclock, it was primarily for running threaded applications and development at the time I bought it, and you can't get a "locked" version of the FX8350

The reason I used a H100i is because I like my PC being cool, CPU runs around 30c when maxed out - My old setup used to run around 58-68c which I didn't find comfortable for my likings.

The cooler you keep your CPU, the longer it is going to last. transistors also work better when cool (also lowers the activation voltage - not that it matters)

My whole system runs at 105W when idle.

Support & Help / Re: Upgrading my PC. Need help. :c
« on: March 04, 2014, 09:03:53 AM »
A few simple upgrades, a new Motherboard which supports newer Intel 4--- Series CPUS and 2-Way+ SLI.

Upgrade the CPU to something with more GHZ and more L2 + L3 Cache, seems like your current one has a "Smart" way of sharing it. (It's always best having more dedicated) - The more L2 cache you have shared between cores means a vastly improved speed boost, Having 16MB (8MB L2 - 8MB L3) split between 4 cores will feel around 2-3x faster.

SLI That GPU and have a pretty decent CPU and you'll be laughing, I have a strong feeling that a SLI setup with your current GPU will be bottle-necked by the Current CPU.

Also, I'm hoping you have mistakenly wrote this part or you are getting the data from CPU-Z (since that shows the true MHZ before the DDR doubling);

Quote
16GB DDR3 @ 668MHz.
As that low of a MHZ is going to severely bottleneck almost everything on your system, DDR3 should be running around 1600-1866MHZ. (Higher MHZ RAM also vastly improves video rendering speeds)

I don't know all the commands and settings of OCRP so someone that has known it for longer will have to enable this "sandbox mode" if everyone wants it.

We are working on it, arrangements are being made for a server to be setup so that it doesn't interfere with CGRP development.

When I manage to get a hold of Somone77 I'll update you all with what is happening.

they already beat 'cha to it raged.

Lel, such a troll. If someone who has more access than me can get me the database files, I'll gladly fire up OCRP2.1b1rev2 + Bugs. Nothing could really get worked on due to the lack of a database link and it was pretty much ripping the weird TTT skin off it and adding my radio, that was all that was added.

Very Simple :)  Just installed rainmeter which is the interactive thingy on the right

Click to see the original size.

Nice, I see a bunch of people doing this type of "docking" items at the top of the screen, pretty weird. Also, I notice you use f.lux =D
