I SUPPORT THIS.  (I also Support Lewis, and TnB Models.)


We use to  have it before the shutdown, models are amazing, as well as the TnB models. Though I could see a problem with switching every citizen model to them.

We don't need a lot of plugins. More plugins/content means longer download times which means less people to join the server that haven't played here before. We're striving for higher population, not more scripted things and plugins. Which is a large part of why the new CP models weren't brought back and we're using the old ones again. Honestly I think its a waste of time to post any plugin suggestions. I already know RiffleballBat isn't going to allow more content to be added for the very reason I mentioned.
You do know that plugins are just simple .txt/.lua files. They aren't exactly massive files like the CP models. They only take unnoticeable seconds to load.

Could toss a few servers that only take up space. IE Sandbox, and Cinema. Hardly ever see people on there. Save CG some dollars.
CG does not pay per server, we pay for a server box and run all of the servers off of it. We can host as many servers as the box will allow us to.
Cool, didn't know that. So then why did we take TTT, and other things like that down?

Suggestions / Less Income

So, I woke up today with the idea that what if there was less of an income to players in HL2RP. This would go for gold members, CCA units, CWU Units, and the idea of an income would act like a paycheck. So every week per say a income of 120 tokens would be issued out to every unit (OOC Time.) Now I know what your thinking about how it's a stupid idea. Hear me out here, the idea being is that lower ranked CCA Units, CWU, Gold Member Citizens all get this massive income from "somewhere." If there was less of an income it would create a sorta interesting game play. What with a lack of money certain CWU, or even CCA units could take bribes. Unlike before where a unit would have 23,000 Tokens, and a new citizen would have about 10.

If this went well we could even introduce a minor set of rent from the CWU. Every so often with a large player base the CWU would go door to door asking for the rent payment. I only suggest this because last time every person basically had enough tokens to asspull a castle of tokens. Would be nice to see less of them, and more of a troubling situation for the citizens in a financial way. Just a thought, I think it would be a interesting idea. How it would be done i'm not a 100% sure, but it can always be worked out.

Why not get set times for rations. IE Rations are every Sat, Wed, Sunday at _:__ PM/AM. So players can get on at a time they are able to, and receive rations. It would help with server population, still allowing the CCA/Citizen to roleplay.

Agree, it worked fine the way it was and no one complained about it often. Seemed to get the job done, so there isn't a reason to make a new system.

Personally I just like writing authorizations the old way. It seemed to work well, and if anyone needed to confirm if someone was authorized, and accepted it was a simple visit to the forums. The only problem I see with spot auths is that I could see people arguing over it, and about if it was actually confirmed by an admin or not. Then resulting in one person having to do the thirty minute steam search for the admin that may or may not have accepted it.
