Social Discussion / Re: How much do you game?
« on: March 29, 2013, 01:00:02 PM »
From ages 12 to about 18.
Only naming significant times tbh (At least 50 hrs or something)
I did play a hours on my bros acco before I got mine.
On 1st account (2007):
3,295.4 hours gmod
925.0 C:SS
Let's call the rest about 120 hours
On 2nd account (2010):
421.2 hours CS:S
359.2 hrs Garry's Mod
187.3 hrs Mount & Blade: WFAS
89.5 hrs Mount & Blade: Warband
79.8 hrs DC Universe Online
76.2 hrs Fallout: New Vegas
Let's call the rest about 440 hrs
On 3rd account
Gmod 137.6 hrs
TF2 57.1 hrs
CS:s 54.7 hrs
rest 1.3 hrs

So in total I've played 6244.3 hours which is only 0.712 years in total.
Tbf though a lot of this time was achieved between age 11 and 15 as I didn't go out a lot, only meals with family and school, as I was in a car accident and had a bandage on my head.

2a - 2x = a + x - 2x (Subtract 2x from both sides)

2a - 2x = a - x (Simplify)
lulz (Simplify) and hope nobody understands maths.

Social Discussion / Re: Same sex marriage
« on: November 01, 2012, 07:14:25 AM »
I'm just against it because I would like marriage to be reserved specifically for a male and a female. No religious involvement, I just respect tradition and like it this way. A lot of homosexuals tend to ignore this fact and claim it doesn't hurt anyone, every time it's mentioned I get a pain in my chest.

General Discussion / Re: Speed of Light? More like speed of shite!

Great copy and paste martinerr.

Anyway. Most probably a zero error or some issue with the equipment.

lulz for anyone who didn't know (in the video above) z+1 = (delta lambda + lambda)/lamba, Z is therefore (delta lambda/lambda).
z + 1= Robserved/Remitted (Radius from one planet to another) or 1 + v/c (Doppler Shift).
Times the 1+v/c by the gammer factor or relativistic factor (differently named) to get the relative time.
t = t'0' x (gamma factor)
Gamma factor = 1/(root '1-v^2/c^2')
Just give you some basic understanding of what's going on.

The speed of light shows us everything we see. An object can gain speeds greater than the speed of light but the speed of light will slow down it's local time (Slowing the object purely relative to an observer far away) because everything MOVES with and is shown by the speed of light. Therefore everything must slow down behind the speed of light. Even if two relative velocities add up to over the speed of light, they pass it. Time is slowed down so it can be seen. In other words, how can a sensor pick up something that has not happened yet?

It's like you drawing something and having the image in your head but only being able to draw it at a certain rate. So there is no way something can bypass the speed of light... with this technology  ;D.
