Gaming events?

Maybe we should have events where we all go play TF2 or GTA IV or even LFD. It would be nice to fight off zombies with my catalyst brethren.
Sorry if this isn't the right section.

I don't like those gamemodes. I do freemode all the time. But I can set up a party mode and I have a trainer that I will ONLY use for spawning a little base that we can defend from cops but nobody will be allowed to use unlimited health or anything. Only thing that will be technically cheating will be that I would be putting little gun points in the base where people can resupply but no health kits or anything once your dead your dead.

We had, and may still have, a TF2 server. I play TF2 a ton usually when I'm not on OCRP, so I tried to fire it up a few times. But it's just not possible. The best way to fill a server is to make announcements on the steam group, so if a few people willing to play there when they get the chance were granted those powers it would likely fill up a lot more often. That is, if it's still there.

While it's unlikely that there will be any official play-dates hosted by our staff, don't let that discourage you from setting up a play date with your fellow community members! It's not only allowed, but I would encourage it.
A gaming community isn't just about playing on OUR servers (while we do encourage it
) but it's also about playing together!

It wouldn't be a bad idea but its hard to scheduled an event on any game EXCEPT Garry's mod as others might or might not have that game.

Hopefully you are talking about L4D2 here, right?
I have both of them but only version 2 installed and that is also the best of them.
Im also in for L4D2 at any time.

I have to honestly say that I like L4D 1 a lot better than the second. I admit, the second one is more polished off and leaves plenty of room for Valve to expand on it, but the first one just seemed to play better. There also wasn't as much confusion, just seven weapons. Though cutting up zombies with a chainsaw is just as satisfying.
