Title: Buying new computer (need recommendations)
Post by: Sambolinski on March 02, 2014, 09:42:31 AM
Hi all,
I'm going to buy a new computer so does anyone have/know of one that can run games pretty well. Not amazing but an alright fps on gmod and a few other games, so if anyone has any recommendations not any more than £450 ($750).
Any answers are appreciated
Sam

The video is a few months old so you might want to check one of the more expensive builds he does for better prices.

Asus G30. It's pre-built and expensive, but really powerful.

Don't get a prebuilt. You'll end up paying over 2x more for the same exact specs. building a computer is easy as shit anyway

Thanks for the replies. I'm probably going to get one similar to that YouTube link.

"To run some games"
Yeah, facebook games as most....
Lol, what even is in that thing? Why would someone buy that if they don't even tell you what's in it? Just that cheap ass price says enough.

it has specs down below

all of their built PCs seem overpriced for whats inside of them, would just be a lot cheaper to buy hardware individually and build it yourself

Hi, person with Intel 4000 HD graphics on a laptop.
I run any game at max settings at 30fps.
Integrated graphics are not that bad. I have more video memory than you'll ever dream of.

This is exactly what my build is, except that the wireless adapter is an ASUS USB one.

Anyways, I think you should go for it. It's an excellent build!
