whenever you post add an option that says "Thread bump (Will bump thread but not count towards post count)". It can be used once every 78 hours or so(I'd say a week is fair though). It would allow important threads that are falling back in the system to come back but not raise postcount and you wouldn't get in trouble for double posting.
Perhaps make a rule saying when you use the thread bump option, you many only double post once. If no one else posts in the thread after you posted twice in succession, it's deemed unimportant.

Basically a board where we can post quick questions/things that are to short to start up a thread, thing is, it won't go towards your post count so you cant get in trouble for shit posting because its just a simple question/thing that needs to be said. Now I'm sure you're all going to say "omg just use shoutbox", well I would if it wasn't spammed with a bunch of shitty shouts. Important ones just fall through the cracks. Having a board designed for those important shouts/things that need to be said but are not worthy of a full on thread would be useful. It can't be THAT hard to make a new board. I couldn't imagine it taking more than 5 mins. I'd also like to add that in the board that I'm suggesting there would be no pornographic material allowed whatsoever. It IS NOT some spam redux. This is a completely different board with a completely different meaning.

Anyways, if you guys want to suggest a spam board, go make a thread about it. The board I'm suggesting IS NOT SPAM OR A SPAM REMAKE

So I have this theroy as to why MLP became so popular amongst grown men, and I'd like to share it with everyone and so I can know what they think and we can dicuss it.
MLP was designed to be a show for little girls(I couldn't imagine older than 10) to enjoy. It fits pretty much every aspect of it being a good show for the targeted audience, as let's be real, many young girls like ponies and pink with rainbows and all that stuff. So my theory is that a group of individuals wanted to basically troll everyone by creating a fan base made up of grown/older men. If then became so large that people began to think they were being serious and decided to bandwagon onto the show. One only has to look at Justin Beiber, so many people hate him just because it's a bandwagon to. He's a very successful individual, which many people like his music. Same with Miley Cyrus, she really doesn't make THAT BAD of music, but people just hate because they can. She's made herself extremely well known for the things that she's been doing recently, which is what I think the aim of her PR team was trying to do. Anyways back on topic, so people just bandwagoned onto the show and thought it was serious, and it now stands as a widly known show in today's...what could you call it...social environment/media?

So I've noticed that some people like to change their name on the forum and it gets really confusing as to who is who. So I suggest this, in steam you have the ability to add a nickname to someones name, so if they change their name a lot, you'd still be able to know who it is without playing 20 questions. I propose we add the same idea on the forum. Just make it so each forum account can make a nickname that ONLY HE/SHE CAN SEE. It's the most useful thing suggested on this forum all year.

Let me make some examples...
Let's say RoflWaffle. Now his name is alaskan thunderfuck but someone has bad memory. So the said person can go to roflwaffles/alaskan thunderfuck's profile and set up a nickname, which only he can see. So he can change it to "Roflwaffle" or "DicksMcGee" if he really wanted to. The nicknames would only be able to be seen by the person who set them, so everyone could have their own to identify who's who, as I have this problem quite often.

We all know how many males in CG treated females on HL2RP as goddesses, COUGH COUGH DAKOTA COUGH COUGH CHALLENGE COUGH COUGH. So I propose that we make it a bannable offense if anyone discriminates/treats someone unfairly/non-equally. Everyone should be equal, males and females, and it should be taken seriously. I'm all for equality for women and men, but CG seems to be going in the opposite direction regarding that. lookie at the cca

So statua said to make suggestions, and I'm going to do just that.
On the polls there is a clear 70% "yes" to bring back 1.5 in its entirety. It was said that it won't happen, so heres my thought. Change the hud, rules, models, cars, map, ect as close as possible to what was in 1.5. Clearly the majority of the playerbase wanted it this way, anyone can view the polls. Anyone can say what they want, but it's cold hard facts that the majority of the playerbase wants to have 1.5, so why not make 2 as close to 1.5 as possible? From there pay more attention to suggestions people have on the forums, having a private board with all the development is a horrible idea and ocrp2 is the perfect example of that. At least 75%(most likely more but I'll give you 75) of the development for ocrp2 was done in a private board and payed no attention to what the playerbase wanted, it was what the admins wanted, and CLEARLY that didn't work out. Just continue to update the gamemode with suggestions people have and I think it'll work out nice.
In summary, try to make ocrp2 as close to 1.5 as possible. Then pay attention to what people suggest and don't add things that people don't want.

What sports do you cg people play? Not when you were a little kid, what sports do you play currently.
Anywho, I do wrestling at my school. I was thinking about signing up for track because I'm pretty fast, not long distance but sprinting I can outrun most kids my age/size, but I was thinking that it would overwhelm me with my schedule and all that(doing two sports means less time you got).

Well since my spam archive idea was shot down, why not make a new board, similar to spam, but with a strict no flaming rule? I think we can all agree that spam without the flaming can still be fun? Don't see how it could be that bad. Just disable gaining post counts and whatnot, pretty much the exact same as spam but with no flaming allowed.
