Pre-Alpha, looks like shit, just giving you an idea, don't worry, It's nowhere near done, and is not the final product. It's only about %5 of the actual map. Kgo.

Problem with this is that the players without CS:S are not going to play because it'd be eyerape. Let's see what happens anyway.

Like every other hl2rp map that has a city-based environment? There need to be more diverse HL2RP maps, for god's sake, they didn't just take over America, they went worldwide. There need to be desert themed maps, arctic themed maps, and whatever other locales you can think of.

Couple of things for when you get closer to release, I don't like the combine flag poles/posts, could be a bit sleeker and the Nexus interior is a bit bland (I understand that it's incomplete).

That is not the nexus. That is the entrance to the CWU. Retro plans to form the nexus in previously owned Egyptian lord's mansion, he has drawn up the concept designs for it and it looks amazing. It's going to have a large courtyard with some pretty epic stair cases and the interior is very spacious. I know the CWU look's fucking shit atm, but that is just the base of his idea, he is going to tidy it up add more features and make it look a lot more pretty. He might even possibly re-work it. 

With the poles I thought the same thing aswell but keep in mind this is a pre-alpha. It's supposed to be shit. Also, Retro forgot to mention that them doors are fully functional, with sounds and animation. It look's really good. 

Edit : The nexus will look simmilar to this but a lot more epic.

My mistake on the nexus/CWU. I wouldn't say the CWU looks shit, just the stand-out underworked area at the moment. The poles can easily be reworked a little and I'm sure they will be. I have to disagree with you on that last point though, pre-alphas aren't supposed to look shit :V (And this one certainly doesn't.)

I know, I just meant that all the maps are set in the usual dark city, all based off the cities you see in HL2 or read about, but it would be a refreshing change to see how the humans were managing somewhere else. (You know, I mean a city in a different country, different culture, etc.)
