Events / Re: Massive citizen RP.

Thanks for the input, I'm just trying to not do a fail suggestion like, "Oh zombies, or Revolution lol" I am just looking to broaden citizen to citizen relations. If you look at the CCA they all know each other practically, and have a community, I would like for that to happen in the citizen base as well though, and I will try and come up with more specifics as I go along, but I guess its good to address the point that citizen on citizen RP  is definitely the weakest as of now.

Today was very exciting. I had to go undercover for Civil Protection to turn in an Anti-Citizen. The Anti-citizens group was called, "HT", I have no idea what it means, but I found a note talking about it in the UCH showers. The best part is that I got my first loyalist point, and I am now one step closer to becoming a member of the CCA. This news is great, and I'm so excited.

This is a stressful time, I've began to infiltrate a rebel group for the CCA, but to do so I might need to keep a contraband item. This is bad because I might just get beaten for having it in my possession, but hopefully the CP searching my background will see I'm undercover. This is just all so stressfull, I can't even think of other words to describe it. Till next time journal....... If there is a next time.

I am now unofficially authorized to carry a radio to try and further unravel the group HT. I asked a Zealot to go into the Nexus for interview, and told her of the two members I had met, and the radio frequency they had given me. So now my goal is to stop all of them, which will take some time, but it will be done. It's been a pleasure as always journal.

Events / Massive citizen RP.
« on: September 02, 2012, 06:17:09 PM »
Bring citizens together through a tragedy that effects all, promoting RP between all citizen types, (Loyalist Anti, Normal, CWU, Ect.) Maybe the death of a popular citizen, ( Popular ICly through massive amounts of RP, helping a lot of citizens out). Or even a complete citizen round-up into the UCH, with an aftermath detainment period. Or any other ideas, post ideas please, but some sort of event of this type. I've noticed way to many citizens just simply Fail RP. This could provide a good RP trainer for bad RPers, and help citizen RP in general, because as of now its pretty boring at times. This did not take a lot of time to think of, be brutally honest with opinions, I don't mind, I just want an event to bring all of the citizens together, for better RP opportunities.

Accepted CWU Applications / Craig Grahm's Civil Worker Application
« on: August 31, 2012, 05:55:39 AM »
~IC PART~
Full Name: Craig Grahm
Citizen identification(CID): 93850
Last Assigned Apartment Number: B1
Total Loyalist Points: 3
Sex: Male
Age: 28

How long have you been in City45:
I have been in City-45 for two days now, but in this time I have learned a lot, and I now know a lot of the citizens.

Why do you want to join the CWU?:
I want to join the CWU to help my fellow citizens, and to serve the universal union in a more positive way, by supplying the various needs of both citizens and officers alike, in a fair environment to be able to use my skills and knowledge legally.

Have you ever been detained before?(If so why):
No, I have never been detained.

Past experience with work/labor:
I was a teacher pre-portal storm, but soon after I saw the might of the Universal Union, as all of humanities cultures were overthrown and dissolved in a mere seven hours, so from then on I knew where the true power in the world was, and I was sure that I would want to aid the Combine to advance the human race into our next cycle of evolution.

Name 4 things the CWU Can possess, and 4 things we cant. Also state why.:
A CWU member can possess medical supplies for a clinic, or just for aid, they can possess a radio, for communication, they can possess certain equipment to help assist with working, as well as some computer systems to manage data and records.

A CWU member cannot possess illegal drugs, or medications, they cannot possess weapons, they cannot possess non UU branded foods, and or literature.

Tell us about what you can do.:
I am a very quick learner, and I am well versed in knowledge of the human body, because as a side obsession in my past life I enjoyed studying from medical journals, and other pieces of literature pertaining to medical science. I am well versed in human history, so I am quick to understand tactics, and other methods of survival. I am also very adaptive to different ways of living, that is why getting used to a UU controlled life has been very simple for me.

If a citizen asks for help and is new to the city, what would you do?:
I would let the citizen know who I am, and about the CWU. I would take them on a tour of the plaza, showing them off-limits area's and such, and then I would warn them of the lawlessness of Precinct 3. I would give them a request device, and answer any questions they had about the city of the use of the said device.

~OOC Section~
Name: Smittiy
Timezone: US-East
SteamID: STEAM_0:1:37750820
Roleplay Experience: 2 Years
Serious Roleplay Experience: 7 Months
Detail a regular day as a worker of the CWU?:
I would wake up at a decent hour, preferably earlier than most citizens, then I would go to my clinic, and or shop to perform my daily duties, and then I would go around telling of the safety the CWU provides, and the relief of knowing that the Combine are our protectors, not out oppressors, as some would like to believe. I would make sure I helped all the people I could, Citizen, and CCA alike. I would focus on my duties as a member of the CCA, and not get side-tracked by various other tasks.

I would report any, and all suspicious activity as I do now. I would also try to convince other citizens of the safety the Universal union provides for our race, and how through social harmony, we can achieve great things. Not just as a people but as the human race. It would be to inspire fellow citizens and enlighten them to the facts of our new society, and to hopefully save them from a life crime and suffering. I believe the CWU is just the outlet in life I need to help those around me thoroughly, and show my devotion to eventually meet my final goal of joining the CCA, and giving all of my being to the Universal Union.

Character Backstory:
Craig was born in a smaller American Town in 1989. He grew up fast, living a life of intellectual liberation. From a young age he had a fascination with medicine, and physical science, but his parents steered him on a different path in life. They wanted him to be a history professor. Craig quickly rose to the top of every class he was ever in and graduated from high school, and college as his class' valedictorian. He soon became the youngest history professor his  college had even seen.

During his time in college Craig grew a deep admiration for authority and structure, he felt it was the only proper way for a person, let alone a society of people to live in harmony, he always believed this particularly due to his research of history, and of ancient empires that ruled with an iron first, but also ruled for centuries. When the seven hour war began Craig took shelter in the basement of his university, while his family attempted to seek refuge in a U.S. military base... They were all killed, and from the wreckage of his life Craig went on. He eventually found himself in City-26, a smaller containment zone in the united states, until recently he was transferred to City-45, his new home, and his new love in life.

Today seemed normal at first, but most strange days always do. At first Civil Protection searched the whole apartment complex, and I found yet another piece of disturbing literature, describing a drug transaction, in the very apartment the CP's had just assigned me to. I immediately called an officer, who then rewarded me for my diligence, then things got very strange. A loud thunderous crashing sound rang all throughout the city, and my first reaction was to trace it to its source. It turns out it was a downed supply chopper, but that was not the worst of it, head crabs began to pour out of it attacking the officers, then the slave vortigaunt that was on the chopper as well came out, but his nullification collar was broken, and he began to attack, he was quickly dispatched, but what happened next.... scarred my very mind, a dead officer, with all of his flesh burnt off came out of the wreckage, but one of the head crabs had paired with his body, and he killed an officer. A heartless citizen next to me laughed at the sight, witch outraged me, and I told her, " CP units are humans too you heartless person", and she stopped speaking. This city is insane compared to little old Twenty Six, sometimes, i miss the quietness, but my place is here and I will make my leaders proud.

Today was my first day in City-45, and it was different than I expected. I came from a smaller containment zone known as City-26, and it was cleaner, had more CP units on patrol, and had less unruly citizens. Today I was harassed for the simple fact that I support the Combine, one man literally tried to force himself into my apartment to either rob me, or to try and scare me. I reported him, and he received a Level-3 Reeducation, but so did a man who did nothing to me. I felt horrible, I gave the man 20 tokens to try and apologize, and he accepted it thankfully, he realized I was not out to make enemies with the common rabble, I just want to live in peace. I also met one fellow supporter named Joe today, hopefully I can get to know him better in the future, It's been a pleasure.

I couldn't wait long to write in this journal again, tonight was so exciting, I met a woman who didn't even remember the portal storms, I was shocked, but it turns out she spent majority of her life away from society. It just amazed me to meet some one whose life was such a parallel to my own. It was such a beautiful night as well, and to boot I got a ration from turning in a Anti-Citizen propaganda flyer, it was requesting people who knew how to, "Acquire various items", whatever it was though, it did not seem good. The CP on duty rewarded me though for my diligence and devotion, and I think I might apply for the CWU soon, there is just so much to do its boggling my mind.

Its been months since I've written in this old thing, I haven't had the time really, especially with all the shit that's been going on lately. Just yesterday my friend Joe, and I were savagely beaten and robbed, I told a CP, and he actually seemed to care...... I know that's not true though, they don't give a shit about us. I try to respect them, and be as nice as possible, but they still seem to have a very cold resentment for all of the citizens, even the ones who like them. There is one CP who I do really like, Rct. 228, he seems different, but who am I kidding, hes probably just an ass like all of the rest, till next time, if there is a next time...

Today in effort to gain favor with the CP's and reported contraband, but the bastards beat me for, "possessing it", when the items didn't belong to me. I met one nice guard, Unit 999. He was very kind, and did not want to have to punish me for a crime I did not commit, but it was protocol. I'm at my breaking point now, I'll try and keep it together for now, but it gets harder every day I go on like this. I'm going to start a business soon though, that will give me a nice venue to aid my friends, and keep me occupied, and still no word from Josh, hope he's okay in the outlands.

Its been a few days now, too many to count, but I've finally gotten around to writing in this damn journal again. Today was great, not only did I finally get some furniture for my drab apartment, I got my first full deep sleep for months. There was a CP sweep of the apartments, and I was clean but a woman in the hall passed out from the stress, and I had to get assistance from the CP's again. She made it ,thank god, but I never got to catch her name. All I remember was her British accent, and that she was very shy. Oh god I think I might really like her... well this complicates a lot of things. Until next time journal! God I need a better hobby.

Outside City 45 / Re: Increase Outlands Popularity (questionnaire)
« on: April 26, 2012, 03:37:28 PM »
Why would you rather play on the city then the outlands? The city is more populated and offers more RP opportunities in my opinion.

What do you do for fun on outlands? I mostly RP, but other than that the Outlands gets very stale, very quickly.

Is Ineu-Pass too hardware reliant for your current system? (too laggy) My computer runs it perfectly with 8GB. of ram, and a 1GB. graphics card.

What would you like to see more of on outlands? More involvement with the combine.

What do you want to do on outlands? I want a serious Rebel RP that could possibly reach City-45.

What is about outlands that makes you not want to join or play it? The lack of people.

What can I do to Civiwatch/Alliance Network to help you enjoy the outlands? Have more involvement, or just a bigger presence.

Extra comments. I love the Outlands, but it desperately needs more content.

Bug Reports / Will not let me use "E" key.
« on: April 26, 2012, 03:30:53 PM »
I know it's not an issue with my keyboard, because I'll go into chat and, "E" will work, but for some reason some times the key will randomly stop responding when I try to use it on doors and such. Happens almost every day, it's not game breaking, but it gets annoying.

Day four, it feels weird saying that, only four days here and life is still not improving. Today a man tried to recruit me into a rebel group, I accepted at first, but was then questioned in the Nexus, after that I informed a CP of what was going on. They found him cowering in his apartment, and killed him, but before they killed him, he managed to wound two officers with knives. The idiot tried recruiting me, and was not even discrete, two random citizens heard him and reported it as well, so it was not my fault... completely. I'm not a damn loyalist!, but I'm not completely anti-combine. At this point I really don't know. My cousin Will wasn't around much today, and as a result I was knocked out and dragged into an apartment, after about twenty minutes, I woke up on a park bench. Apparently a CP shot the lock off the door, and dragged me out. The bastard who assaulted me is still out there though, and when I see him I'm going to beat the shit out of him. Well tomorrow is always better, right? We'll see, I guess.

Today was hell. It started off normal, but it went to shit quickly. I was waiting outside the Nexus to appeal for more rights for citizens, when a CP said, " You two come with me" thinking he was talking to me I went inside the barricade, an when I realized he wasn't talking to me it was too late. He ordered me to wait in the airlock, he called it a, "Level 3", and then he tied me up and beat me. after being released my cousin Wilson and I went back to our apartment and holy shit did I have a lot on my mind. Afterwards I went and got my rations, and now I'm writing in this stupid journal. It makes me laugh when I think about this journal, and it brings a tear to my eye, this was the last thing my brother Josh gave to me before he went to the outlands. God I hope he's okay, he stopped writing months ago.

Today was my second day in City-45, and it was surprisingly better than yesterday, (my first day), aside from the fact that I was caught up in the middle of an event of sorts. The event was exciting and lengthy, when upwards of ten citizens, myself included were carried into the Nexus to be treated by the CP Shield for an unknown infection. I made it out alive, others weren't so lucky suffering beatings, and some died, but I made it and was reunited with my cousin Wilson Smith. I'm safe for now, but no one knows what the future holds, and who knows this may have been only my first close encounter with death. I hope to god I'll be okay.
