Server Update


Changes:
  • Fixed organization menu scrolling.
  • Fixed organization ranks not sending after change.
  • (Hopefully)Fixed fishing rod ball not disappearing sometimes.
  • You may now spawn 2 vehicles. The last vehicle will be removed if you try to spawn more.
  • Helicopters that stay underwater for over ~4 minutes now get auto-deleted.

These changes will apply once the servers restart.

Server Update


Changes:
  • Added a fishing rod to fish with.
  • Added player statistic tracking (OS, mounted games and such).
  • Added a physgun color option to the CG store.
  • Added the ability to change other players' physgun colors in the CG store.(Have fun making your friends physguns pink)
  • Added /apm for admins to PM players.
  • Fixed intro screen running too fast.
  • Made intro screen materials use "smooth" setting.

These changes will apply once the servers restart.

A new map was made by Statua called Catalyst Harbor is now live on Harbor Roleplay.

There are a few gamemode changes done too such as:
  • Integration with map soundscapes and gamemode ambient sound.
  • Added seats to world chairs on the map
  • Changes to some menus.
  • Other optimization, bug fixes.

You can drag the chat around and reposition it.
You can also close it if you wish. To bring it back up you type "/global" in chat.

Global chat is currently working in Harbor Roleplay and TTT.

Server Update


Changes:
  • Added an exit system for chairs for you to not get stuck in the world.
  • Added auto unprice to items. If you run too far away from your priced goods, they will lose their price.
  • Made elastic tool unusable on the world.
  • Made plants cost 50% for VIP's and 0%(free) for Gold Members.
  • Added prop abuse protection.
  • Added questions when joining to be a Coast Guard. One time only.
  • You may only have one vehicle from the Docks dealer at a time.
  • Added black background to the Depth Measurement Tool.
  • Added Spray painting(sprays) to the CG Store for 250 credits.
  • Fixed Sign's text to not replace '1' with '50'.

Server Update


Changes:
  • Fixed demoting, its menu and limited use to every 20 mins.
  • Made inventory text black for readability.
  • Recoded price system. Full serverside and part clientside to ensure there are no exploits.
  • Rules changed. Make sure you read them.
  • Changed shipment 3D text.
  • Increased all fruit prices the npc buys by 10%.

Changes:
  • Added a compass in the HUD.
  • Added hidden playtime for players. Everyone with an account before the update starts with 12 hours.
  • Restricted Coast Guard job to require a minumum of 12 hours playtime.
  • Restricted Gun Dealer and Black Market Dealer jobs to a minumum of 6 hours playtime.
  • Fixed salaries bonus from VIP and Gold Member clientside.
  • Fixed Steam Avatar icon in scoreboard.

We have decided to put a whitelist on props in Harbor Roleplay. We are having a model precache overflow after staying online without crashes for a day or two. The precache of models increases every time a new model is spawned which leads to a server crash due to overflow of precached models.

If you want a model whitelisted, post the name of the model in this thread.
If you think a model does not belong in the list below, post to get it removed since we have too much models whitelisted and it's hard to pick the ones we do not need.

Creations / Bomberman gamemode

This is a garry's mod gamemode called Bomberman which I made in about 24 hours. It's an arcade-like kind of gamemode, based on the old classic Bomberman flash games.
This gamemode was also running at CG for a weeks or so, but I don't have the motivation to polish the gamemode up.
The gamemode is currently playable, but it is more of a proof of concept and needs more polishing.

I'm releasing the gamemode publically and allowing anyone to modify it, as long as they give me credit for the original gamemode.

Server Update


Changes:
  • Fixed Littlebird first person.
  • Fixed a bug with shipments dissapeared after switching jobs.
  • Added boat freezing. Press C (default context menu) while the boat is not moving.
  • Added forum name display in the password change menu.
  • Changed lockpicks to only work at night in Red Harbor.
  • Changed lockpicks to be less noisy.
  • Added questions for new players who join on the weekends or when above 20 players.
  • Added an autokick if killing people 10 seconds apart while not at night in Red Harbor.

Rules have changed regarding CrimeRP in the Red Harbor.
Changes will apply as soon as each server restarts.

Winter HRP Update


Changes:
  • Added Grow Lamps.
  • Added Growable plants
    • Orange
    • Banana
    • Watermelon
    • Lemon
  • Added Water Bottle. Drink or use to water plants.
  • Added Fruit Market NPC.
  • Added a dynamic system for the Fruit Market.
    • Prices change based on fruits sold.
    • Limited supplies. Resupplies once every so often.
  • Made and added snow.
  • Converted a lot of textures to PNG images resulting in reduced download content.
  • Slightly tweaked Intro.


Sidenote: Rules will be updated in the next couple of days.
To disable Snow, change cl_enablesnow to 0 in the console.

If you haven't noticed already, we've reached 30,000 members! This is a really huge step for a community only focused on one game, Garry's Mod.

Thanks to our amazing administration team for all the help with taking care of problems and servers, and keeping rulebreaking to a minimum!

Thanks to the great development team we have for making this possible. Without them, we wouldn't have gotten where we are today.

Server Update


Recoded player model support for NPCs.
Fixed NPC speech bubble turning.
Remade both Black Market NPCs menus.
Made a Water Depth Measurement Tool, which shows the depth in units, as well as draws a graph.
Remade daynight sky color change. It will now directly change the skybox materials color. This allows the water reflection of the sky to change color.
Made it so when players type, it says "Typing" and when they type /me ... it says "Performing" above their heads.
Remade Vehicle menu.
Optimized Vehicle shop algorithm.
Rules ingame now load from the CG website.
