Lemme think....

"cscdesert" is a pretty good one, it has a town for citizens and some bunkers for the Combine. But do I really need to describe it? EVERYONE knows Cscdesert. It's a classic.

White Forest comes to mind, there are plenty of maps about it.

I actually haven't played cscdesert, I'll hafta check it out. And I know about all of the White Forest maps. I think Radiotower is the best out of the series because it's not very linear, and is free from the glitches and explosives of whiteforest_hills.

If you really want a decent outlands roleplay server, that won't fail. I would suggest the use of one of the whiteforest map, or one of the coast maps. Try to use Half Life 2 rips because in my experience, HL2 rips work the best for roleplay.

The problem with hl2 rips is that they're usually too linear for a good roleplay feel. That is, they're game levels where you need to get from point A to point B. It's too constricting.

One of the reasons I love rp_apoc is the sense of freedom it gives you. You don't need to head in any one way. Walk in some random direction and you'll find cool stuff regardless.

What about District Nine? Great map for outlands.

I'd pick RP_Apocalypse, but it's not very... Half-Life... -ish....
And a lot of people can't seem to run it.

And does the Outlands map have to be like, a coast or White Forest map? Can't it be something with canals and stuff?
Otherwise, I think I'm going with rp_apocalypse...

I'm sticking with what I suggested before, md_whiteforest or md_whiteforest_radiostation.
Both maps are pretty much perfect for the outlands, whiteforest probably more so if we're not going with one main group.

I can't find either one of those maps. There's rp_whiteforest_radiostation, but I doubt it's the same. Link please.

I honestly can't find the map. If you could post the links on here, that would help me and other users considerably.

Suitable because it has lots of housing space that gives a good vibe of more of a stick-together-kind-of-community feel. It's also noded entirely.

Simply because of the vast size of the map. I like it because the huge coastline and ocean, along with the small houses and everything, makes you feel insignificant to the surrounding environment.

So when is this server coming up? Is it going to be passworded?

Which is the coast map with the bridge in the middle, if that's one of the ones in the poll I may have to change my vote..
