So, if you could pick any super power what would it be? For the sake of this thread, you can ONLY pick one power.
The reason this is in GD is because I want you to discuss WHY you would choose that power. I really want you to think about this and not just put some bullshit like: "LOL I'D USE INVISIBILITY TO RAPE WIMIN! LOL". It has to be a serious answer because jut imagine what you could do with a super power in today's world!
Personally I would choose the ability to stop time. Reason being is because you could manipulate ANY situation you encounter. If you're about to be robbed, you can stop time and leg it. Or you could go find the largest, sharpest object you could find, put it over the prick's head and restart time... ^_^
EDIT: Also, don't pick a power that gives you more powers. Lame ¬_¬

I'd love the ability to be able to clone myself. I'd like to talk to myself, build an army of clones, attempt to take over the country with beyond billions of clones and that's about it - job done. I don't know why I have such a fascination with talking too myself but I think it would be cool..... It would be funny to get all my clones together and talking, see if we could solve any certain problems.
To make it clear, these clones are absolutely identical to me in every way, and perhaps can even clone themselves, if you'll allow it?

I prefer control all time in general, go forward or back and stop. However, my secondary and little less over powered power would be the ability to (nerd alert) "save" at any point in you life so that you may return to that time if you want. For example, you could use this power right before taking a test and if it doesn't turn out as you hoped, just go back and redo it. Basically, it's just a toned down version of time control.

That's a funny power xD So you're talking more about the problem solving side rather than the world domination side? I can deffinately see the benefits of having countless coppies of yourself, but how would you work out hierarchy? Telekinesis is 'best life' for those who are lazy and rather use their mind to hover something to them.
I have dreamed several times 'lucid' about me being able to pick up things instead of using my hands.
Though, I don't wish a simple telekinesi, example: your hands/arms are restricted to your strength in terms of picking up rather heavy objects, telekinesis hopefully does not restrict you to that.

Y'know, that's not that bad of a power. Not just to kick the fuck out of retard trolls, but you could insta hop to any PC anywhere as long as it's connected to the internet (And presumably ON lol). Downside is, if the internet ever shutdown (Unlikely, but not impossible) then that power would be useless.

Internet is a connection between computers, basically. It may upgrade later on but humanity will definitely keep that connection, either computers or chips in their heads. Just saying some sci-fi shit now. Humans are (supposed to be) social, they won't throw away this 'power'.
And yeah, I'd like to disregard Telekinisis maybe, something more... If you have played Syndicate, abilities such as hacking like that would indeed be awesome.

I would have a supernaturally Superb intelligence and overall brainpower, kind of like the movie limitless.
Enhanced senses, very good with learning, able to remember anything including things from your subconscious, social awesomeness, and good survival skills.

It's a debate between two for me. Either being able to switch between tangibility and intangibility or being able to visit alternate realities (Dimension/Universe hopping). The ability to switch between tangibility and intangibility since with being tangible, you are limited to all things related with the five senses (aka, a mesh up of invisibility, walking through walls, flying, etc. while still being one power since it deals with the senses and all the mentioned in parenthesis would be activated at once. It'd sort of be like when you get the cold chill up your spine but you know that nothing's there sort of thing since something intangible essentially went through you or you went through it). With that ability I'd be able to easily sneak around, not be noticed and be left alone to my own work at least or could just start a crime spree (not). Yes Jigger, I know you're probably going to go on about how my description of switching between tangibility and intangibility would be a fancy way of saying a melting pot of powers but I still consider it one power as it deals with the FIVE SENSES (sight, taste, touch, smell, and hearing). Being able to visit alternate realities would also be nice since stuff you see on TV like the cartoon shows such as stuff like (going through some old childhood shows here): Pokemon, Digimon, Looney Tunes, etc. could be where you end up in to "play" around in. Also, I do realize that this power would be a manipulation of Time & Space, but then again, so would your power Jigger as you said before about finding a sharp object and letting it hang straight down above the robber's head. So yeah, that would be the powers I'd be debating between but other than that, I might have to go with visiting alternate realities, cause hey, I might be able to go to a world where stuff like Pokemon exist and "catch 'em all" :P

Please realize that I have lost substantial interest in the shows (not the movies, they're still pretty decent) and prefer the games although what I've heard about the gen 5 show, I might have to watch a few to be my own judge of the show and yes, I know, I'm a nerd. Get over it. So I like pokemon. Just please don't post any hate on the thread as it might cause a lot of unnecessary shit for the admins to deal with.

Y'see, that is the kind of response I was hoping for :D And it would be fucking great to go into alternate realities and films. It'd be like the Last Action Hero movie where the (Annoying as fuck) kid gets a magical golden ticket to go into movies.

I would want the ability to control all time. I know this is already said, but let me elaborate. Take the GMan for example. His powers are kinda what I'm getting at. He can control time /completely/; he can stop time for a single person, move throughout space-time (I.E. Go to other dimensions on the space-time plane), stop time in a certain area, and even to project himself in time. That's what I'm going at.

Having gay sex with your clones would just be that, sex with clones of you. Be careful though, you might get AIDS form yourself and spread it to your clones :P

I would choose the ability to have massive telekinetic powers, similar to Chronicle. The ability to have it grow. Stop bullets, shield myself from any damage. fly, fuck with people. Very broad range of things you could do :D

With or without wings, I don't care. But as a child I always had the dream to just jump, and fly away to the highest skyscraper and sit on there, enjoying the nice view. I dreamed that I had wings on my arms which I could fold up or something like that so they weren't in the way when I didn't need them, but when I open my arms, huge wings sorta fold out and I could fly up in the sky and be a bird. ^^
Or never have to worry about getting stuck in a traffic jam, or trains coming late because I have NOTHING that stops me from getting late because I can simply fly to school.

If I could have any power it would probably be the ability to create portals, people could go through them and myself. But not with a gun like the Valve game Portal and Portal 2, it would be way better to use your hands and create portals. If it wasn't restricted and I could create one anywhere on the world and one infront of me it would be even better. But if it was limited it would still be pretty nice.

If I had to pick a power, it would be the power to contact the departed, mainly because I would love to be able to talk to the dead about their life, their history and what they went through during life, and seeing if they can offer any advice.

The power to alter the atomic structure of things... I.E. you could turn anything into gold, etc. make your own atoms. You could turn anything into anything else basically.
