Optimize for widescreen?
« on: July 06, 2011, 12:18:40 PM »
Would it be possible to optimize the web site to work better for wide screen monitors so we don't have to horizontal scroll for things like pictures and stuff? There is a lot of wasted space on a widescreen setup... I'm pretty sure there is a way to have it auto fit to the screen, but I haven't touched html since I was like 14...

Here is a picture of what I see personally:

(I added the red circles, in case anyone was wondering)

Wish, this is a common problem when you get a big screen monitor, might I suggest a) a smaller monitor, b) a setup for the compensation of the amount of space, or c) sucking it up. (I added c as my mom has a 25" monitor for her desktop Mac, and being on it I've realized how much of a pain it is, but it still ends up the same way).

Except for it isn't hard to add a line of code that resizes the forum to the edge of the screen.

I can probably even do it.

I think the forum is inside a "table" and the table does not resize larger than a certain point, if I am right...

+support on this. It would be very nice to have it in widescreen specially when you have like 24"+.

Hopefully Someone or Karma can get around to this.
Please do not add me on Steam because you have in-game problems. Make a thread in the correct board on the forum and i will respond to that whenever i have time.

It's not a percentage it's px. Right now it's on auto with a min of 990px (the default width) and a max of 1500px.
