I have a question about donation, do you pay once, or is it a recurring thing? I have a feeling it recurs.

Its a one time donation. Every donation at CG, is one time donations.

If you really want to get technical, it IS recurring. Only you pay every 5 years. So realistically it's permanent.

It says 5 years, but it's just permanent, because don't assume this community still exists in 5 years.
So basically, it is permanent.
