Text: Ok, it's was my first day. A little nervous, and way over-zealous to perform well. My day started out pretty well. Woke up and was shortly called in for an interview. Unit 428 and 240 put me under my first reaction test, which involved me being blinded for about 20 seconds. It was a good laugh. I then received my uniform, radio, stunstick, etc. 240 brought me down to the Training Room for some basic training. 240's a nice guy. So is 428. After covering every topic besides breaching, they did another reaction test, which I successfully avoided. I still have a long way to go until 04.
Skip ahead a little bit. Unit 424 royally pissed me off today. I was punched in the back near the terminal, but didn't feel a thing. When he asked me to tell what they looked like, I said I only got a glimpse of him. He then said I was 'A little slow' and should be evaluated. Idiot. So I was put under the supervision of an ADRENALINE Unit (and he is equally annoying) and was supposed to stay by him at all times. He got downright annoying after an hour or 2. We got at least 5 request calls, and when I said I was going to investigate, He told me to stay by his side! We could've had contraband! Sigh.
It was a real day today. There was always something going on today. Every time I came back to the Nexus, I was then ordered straight out. Sigh again.

Well, I'm pretty limited right now. I'm being extra good to try and get promoted.
Oh no, I can hear 424 coming down the stairs. Cutting this short.

Text: It seems today went by real slowly. Nothing of real importance happened today. Luck was on my side because I barely saw the ADRENALINE unit today, if it all.
I did a sweep of the apartments with Unit 240 today. There was a whole apartment full of contraband! It had milk, a book, a TV, and even a CP mask! We cleared it out, locked the door, and carted it all to the Nexus. Couldn't find the citizen who owned it though. Probably was somewhere else.
Well, I guess i'll go patrol.

Text: It's been a while since I last left an entry. Should have left an entry yesterday, seeing as I got promoted! I had just come out of stasis, and 428 met me at the elevator, and asked me which squads I was interested in! I told him RAZOR. He supported my decision, and said to quote him when I ask the RAZOR DvL for a transfer. I haven't seen the DvL in a while though, I wonder where he disappeared too...
Anyway, today a bunch of applicants passed the application, and they were all waiting in the Lobby. I came out of stasis with them telling me they were new. When me and 145 were accepted, there was no scurrying because It was just us 2 at the time. But oh, no. These 5 were just roaming around aimlessly in the lobby, complete with no radio or knowledge. I ran down to 428, who was setting up desks in the training room, and told him we got new recruits. I went back up to fetch them, and brought them down. Well, after 5 minutes, the training room had every CCA Unit in there. Observers on top, instructors and RcT's on the bottom. I was down on the bottom, being granted permission to assist in training since 240 was interrogating a Rebel Detainment. (more later) So, for some reason training went Super SLOW this time, and we barely got anything done. I doubt the RcT's even got one bit of it, because it was utter chaos in the training room. Finally, the SeC came down and said a couple things about COTA, however really slowly. He was talking so slow, I went in the zone and started toying with my stunstick.
Also about the rebel and 240, 424, me, and I forget who,( could've been 240 or 69, maybe even 428) went on a raid of D2. It all started when me and 240 were patrolling near the D2 entrance, when someone came running out of it! We stopped him,( name was Casper) and before we could take him to the Nexus, 424 came running up and said to accompany him into D2. We followed him, and for a while, found nothing. Then, we found a citizen, who ran, which we killed. We then searched the apartments, and found a man and a woman, the latter who ran and yelled into a radio, "They found me! Run!"We tied them both up and threw them into the Nexus. We questioned the woman, who gave us helpful information. The radio frequency of her "Group" was 104.1. I tried the frequency, but it was just static. They probably stopped after she warned them. However, will keep an eye on that frequency. I turned it into the SeC. Also, it turns out, the ringleader of this group was none other than Casper, the man we caught earlier! I wrote all the information on a piece of paper. 240 put out a lookout for Casper, but we haven't found him. Probably hiding.

Text: Oh, where to start. I haven't done a log in about a month. Well for one thing, were in C45. How did we get here? I can't remember personally, because I was in stasis at the time. But from what the other Units say and what I hear is that C18 got breached by exogens, to the extent that we had to pull back to C45. I don't know the Unit or Units that carried the stasis tanks to the Razor Train, but I'll have to thank them for getting me out alive.
Well, in other news, C45 is better than C18 by a margin. The Nexus is finally big enough for all the units to walk around without bumping into each other! And the streets are nice and wide, for easy patrolling. Long sight lines. Watchtower. I could go on.
But with all the extra space, comes greater threats to the Union. The Resistance seems to have sprouted here as well. You'd think, after saving them in C18, they'd be loyal and listen to us. But no.
The CWU has started here. They have their own district, which again, is nice because of all the cramped space. There's a iron gate there, but it's all rusted and hard to open, so I just leave it alone. I get the strange feeling something's back there though. Possibly my superiors know, but it's better for me not to ask.
And on the other hand, I got promoted! I went to an 04, and was happy as could be. After almost a month with no hint of interest or promotion from superiors, I became frustrated. I finally blew my top when I saw 192, who had been in the CCA for only a week, higher than me! I ran to our DvL, 069, and vented my steam. I probably shouldn't of done that, but I got out all my anger. 069 told me he would move me to 03. Haven't seen 192 in a while though, maybe something happened to him...
Hmph. Just remembered this, thought I should put this down. All the new Recruits we got from our latest cycle, are absolutely, to be completely honest, bad. Just bad. Nearly all of the recruits that were accepted in the last cycle have at least one blackmark. I keep thinking to myself what they could have done to get those blackmarks. Some even have 2! I've heard High Command Units talking about it too, they seem to be thinking along the same lines as me. I've always wanted to train lesser units because it educates them and makes them a better unit. Any training opportunity available; I jump on it. I hate seeing units with blackmarks.

Text: A little early to be doing a log, but it hit me: I'm basically the field commander of APEX. It's the job I've always dreamed of having! Why do I have this job when I'm only an 02? Well, the HC units, and an 01 are all in long-term stasis. 069, 707, and 182. We have no OfC at the moment. So, I just got a huge responsibility.
I consider myself good at strategic maneuvers, and I want APEX to shape up. I want a division that really shines. I want APEX to know every plan, every maneuver, and every step and heartbeat. I'm going to ask 069 if I can start an advanced tactics and strategery course.

Text: Not much going on here. New priority objectives. Clamp sec6 HAP. TransCEP. CWU HAP. Patrol all areas. Urgh, why am I sounding like such a robot? I think I'm transitioning into a cold-hearted machine... I don't care. I used to think the citizens were my friends, but now, they're just scum to me. Chasing after all the 647E's, it showed me what the true citizen is. I've seen the DvL's and SeC. No emotion. I envy that. I wish I could blow someones brains out without thinking about it. Well, I guess I can. Sort of. I don't feel as horrible as I used to fell whenever citizens were relocated. The citizens that are relocated defied the Union, and they deserved it. No questions asked.
This suit really keeps me alive. I think I would drop dead without it. Almost always awake, never fatiguing. I am the soldier I always wanted to be. You know, this suit is so good to me, I think I'm going to modify it. Clear it with the GEAR DvL first though. Don't want any accidental discharges. I was thinking about adding a targeting visor, to increase my deadliness. Deadliness...

Text: Where to start. Where to start. Haha, kinda giddy but tired at the moment. I got promoted to OfC. I recieved a transmission from 182, who is our new DvL, saying, "You know the OfC position is open, right?" I was getting excited, because I knew what he was going on about. He said that he wants me for his OfC, and that the SeC fully supported his decision. He asked me finally if I could handle it. I agreed.

Now that I'm an OfC, I have a lot more power, but a lot more responsibility. Got some new guns, armor and plating. Being a HC units is not an easy task. I suprised myself so badly when I realized I hadn't left the Nexus the whole day. It was a tough day today. I trained 4 RcT's (not at once mind you) by touring the Nexus, and doing radio codes and etiquette. I got one RcT to do firearms, but that was it. 527 was going to give them basic medical training. I have no idea where these 4 will go, NOVA, APEX, or GEAR? They don't seem to be showing a specialization in any of these fields yet. Near the end of the day, I had to cut training short because my suit entered emergency mode, I was nearly out of energy, both in the suit and physically. I staggered to stasis.
OfC was a lot more than I expected. Once I get in the right niche, I'll be doing fine.
I'll have to ask 182 about giving me access to the transmission the HC units use. // HC forum.

02 to OfC is not bad. I don't count EpU as a rank one MUST go through. 040 was one of the best units in APEX at the time according to Blt. I agreed.

Text: Ah, too many things to detail, haven't done a log in a while.
Things are going good as an OfC. A lot of the RcT's and Units I've trained seem to like me. After asking the SeC if I could access the Higher-tier of weapon shipments, I've been stocking the armory repeatedly over the past few weeks, sometimes to the point of the ceiling. I also stock paper and rations. Again, too many things happened over the course of my last log to detail. Promoted 246 after recommendation from 747.

I off-world relocated 597 for insubordination and according to 479, a major breach in security, which all together totaled 3 Blackmarks.

Not really much more to put.

Text: Not even bothering to change numbers on the logs. The UU decided C18 was getting too crowded, and moved a good amount of us to C8. C8 is located in Tokyo, Japan. It was a big move from Ukraine. It seems we never stop moving. First in C18, Ukraine. Then C45 in Russia. Then back C18. Now to C8 in Tokyo. Well in my opinion the Nexus in C8 is too small. Maybe we'll have a decently sized Nexus in C32. And, hopefully C32 will be our last move. The UU is building C32 to suit our certain needs.

But, on why I made this log. I asked 479, the GRID DvL if I could build a SCN. He approved and I studied the blueprints and had it done in 2 days. So, I've been poking around the GRID blueprints file section, and have been looking at things. I looked at Nano entities, and their different uses. I figured there was a way to use microscopic nano bytes to project an image. Unfortunately that was as far as it went, as GRID did not have any more data on the uses of nanities in construction/ technology.

I'm in the GOC right now, experimenting with the uses of nanities. I'm trying to use nanities to produce a duplicate image on an object. I can experiment on a unit later. I have a suit of Overwatch-grade armor I'm testing the nano-image on.

Wait a minute... duplicating images.......of course!

I was standing on the ridge. The trees swaying slightly from the wind, tugging my Kevlar slightly. Peering out over the cracked road, there is nothing. No sign of life. I vaguely remember that there is a sniper in my hand. Sitting down, I remove my faceplate, letting the wind blow into my face. It's odd without my faceplate on, no sensors or anything of the like. I looked around once more. Still nothing. Opening a ration, I ate it's contents within a short time. All of a sudden, I see movement down below. A unit is walking, oblivious to me. His armor is pockmarked and bruised. Standing up slowly, I replace my faceplate and look down the scope. He turns, and sees me for one fleeting moment. I shot, ripping open his head. Replacing the sniper on my back, I walked to his body. I retrieved his weapons and radio, and hung them on my belt. I picked up his body and threw it into the canals. He seemed to fall in slow motion, his blank eyes staring up at me. A moment before he hits the ground, I mutter:

"For the Union."

He hits the ground and I'm taken back into reality, stepping out of my stasis chamber. Spectre will pay for what he's done.
