Twilight, /sarcasm. I don't really read books that much, but I would have to say Harry Potter.
-
Well I don't read that much - like at all :P
But of the two books I have read that I thought were pretty good was one called the Book thief. It was basically the tale of a German girl living in Nazi Germany as her family tried to hide a Jew from the Nazis. It was very interestingly written and quite unique.
The other is a book called "Jerusalem - the biography" It was basically a history book on the entire history of one of the world’s most famous cities. Was a long arse read but if you like history it is a great book :3
Also the Da Vinci code? Really :Pa

The Elder Scrolls series. They actually have two novels out, The Infernal City, and The Lord of Souls.
It goes into detail of who Umbra really is, and what it is. It also gives a lot more information on the Ministry of Truth, and how it and most of Morrowind was destroyed. It's pretty interesting. You have to really know the lore of TES to understand it, though. If you don't it's just like lolwtf.
I am number four and the other Lorien Legacies Series are pretty good.
Redwall was just amazing, I remember reading them a while back.
Davinci code c:
Hunger Games :c

1) Anything Halo
2) Alex Rider
3) Hunger games

White Plague goes here even though its not a series, it deserves to sit on top because it is a fucking amazing book.
Song of Albion trilogy, which is fucking amazingly written.
The Eye of the World. RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND
Bartimaeus trilogy. Because fuck the English
Currently reading Hunger games trilogy, and next is The Song of Fire and Ice
Top 3.5, good enough
-
Probably the CHERUB series by Robert Muchamore.
-
I'm currently reading The Song of Ice and Fire, on book 5, Dance with Dragons now. It's a very good series because it's like the real world, and the books events aren't hollywood style. Characters can die at any moment, and it's not some hollywood the hero saves the day at the end crap. That's probably why I like it so much, because it's different.
-
i like George Oconwells satires like animal farm. I also like:
Hunger games
Redwall
Scot Pilgrim (FTW BITCHES!)
-
The only book series I liked was the dark tower series by stephen king
-
Not a series, but anything by Robert Harris. Pompeii was exceptionally good.
-
Gregor the Overlander (Made my childhood and made me cry a lot)
Guardians of Ga'hoole (Only first 15 books are good)
Hunger Games.
Anything by Susanne Collins. That woman has enough talent to write another series like star wars
-
Ranger's apprentice.

-Everything by 'Brian Jaques'
-Dragon Master (Great series - one of the best I've ever read.)
- Inheritance cycle by Christopher Paolini
-'Morrow Days' series by that one author I don't know.
- 'Avenger' series by Andy McNabb
- Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
- Canadian Forces Drill Manual
My hates:
The Book Thief - horrifyingly written, shallow plot, ineffective use of dramatic irony, etcetera, all make me dislike it.
-

Its a short-mid length read.
But how many pages shouldnt matter much about books :3

I dont read books much, but
Any book by Stephen King, ANY
Anythony Horowitz - Power of Five (or Gatekeepers in the US) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Power_of_Five
And Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials, which is Northern Lights (aka Golden Compass), The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass

Kinda short books imo, for other readers, mid-length. Opinion of it, it is absolutely brilliant, and anyone trying to compare it to Twilight can gtfo.
-

as for just books, not series: the chrysalids
-
I remember reading a series called Left Behind. It was pretty neat to read.
-
I fucking love Cirque Du Freak, they made a movie out of it, (vampire's assistant) but it disappointed an estimated 11 out of 10 viewers... Great book series though, I highly recommend it.
