Bug Reports / VIP to Gold Upgrade failure

I decided I wanted to buy my friend Fatalis who is VIP a Gold membership, so I decided to buy some credits and use the VIP to Gold option to do it. (http://www.catalyst-gaming.net/index.php?action=profile;u=1038405)

Could you please swap that, cause I have no idea why it would buy this guy gold, when I typed Fatalis in the field.

Would be nice for a side-job for EMS, They could load the bodies into their ambulance (Drag the body until it touches the ambulance and it is stored) then they drive to the hospital to an NPC behind it and press a key to unload the bodies they have, drag em to the NPC and talk to him/her and get an amount paid for each body to show that the paramedic is doing their job (Or trying atleast)
We could do, say, 100-150$ a body? you dont get that many...
If people were paid to bring in corpses, they would all drive around to find dead people, and fight over a body.. If they even should be paid i would say a maximum of 75$

Congratz on admin, and honestly the only people that actually RP this is admins... when I go firemen and theres no medica I just RP and use some of the tools we have and ta da, there healthy. All in all. a small med kit which gives 1/3 health and has one time use would be cool.
Woah there Holo! Admins aren't the only ones! -.-' I've been playing on here for a looooong time, never been admin, but i don't do anything but RP as Gov. or citizen, always time to RP!

And BH, i do like your suggestion, therefore you have my full support! :)
What i was stating is that admins are the only ones that can RP and heal the player after.... Regular players can RP it, but the only way they can heal that said player is by giving them food... Not really the same.
Ahh i see (i am kinda stupid xD) But yes indeed, that is only Admins. Sorry for the misunderstanding :b

So, I found a really good addon for a motor bike.  Looks nice, won't require any heavy scripting other then being added into the game, this should probably replace the ATV and or, idk.

It may look like a wire mod thing, no, he just used a flex model in his video to demonstrate what it can do, this bike comes with multiple color variations!  :D  I hope you guys like this.  Sligwolf makes really good addons.

For one, this would not require coding, and if it did, it would only need a little...  and if you would go and look at it for yourself, you would see that it is well made.  And the reason I did not post on the one was because of how old it is.  The bike, as said, if you would go LOOK at it in single player, it looks nice, feels nice, AND IS WELL MADE!  So don't go and say no to this before you even look.
I do actully have the bike myself x.x

Seeing as how I have actually been set on fire... I think there should be a chance for your cloths to catch fire when you step into fire, this would only mean that your player would be set fire until extinguished with a hose or fire extinguisher.   This will add realism and could give the EFS more of a job.  And maybe make a way for you to pass out from the smoke.  If you are in a burning house, you will have to leave in a amount of time before you either pass out and die/or making something can craft like a gas mask, witch the firemen should get on spawn.  There should be a set limit to the time of the gas mask, more realism.  :3 I am sure that the people who rp fire services will love this idea as for the realism aspect.
As a rp Fire service, i like these ideas :b But not the the fire on clothes.. The fire does damage over time already(to non FFs). And why make them die even faster? They would die in like 3 seconds or so. nope sorry :(

I do like the idea of a gasmask! But not for citizens. I know some people irl have gas maskes, but come on, It's not all. (meaning it would be a little unrealistic)

If T is for changing channels what are you going to press if you want to talk on the radio?
You use X(default) to talk in the mic. And it would just switch the channels, meaning you can go to the Gov. radio by pressing T, but also decide what gov. channel you want to go to.

This would be really good as it would bring some sort of a goal system into firefighters, thus hopefully attracting more players to go as firefighter.

Something that I think would be cool to give firefighters is a same kind of thing as the EMS get (life alert). Maybe an alarm goes off in the station with a beacon showing where a big fire is. The beacon (like the life alert one) would have the location and the "type" of fire. For example: "Structural Fire, MTL HQ. Code 3."

Also, with the Chiefs car, it would definitely be a lot faster, so it could get to the fire, evacuate any people, and block off traffic. Maybe it has traffic cones or something in the back? Also, maybe they get a chance to call in a fire support helicopter for an extremely large fire. So they get direct communication with the Mayor to fund it. Much like how a Police Chief can call in SWAT.

With the "level two" firefighter, maybe they receive access to a more powerful hose, longer lasting fire extinguishers, faster trucks or a more resistant fire jacket?


Anyways, something needs to be added into the firefighter system.  ;)

I don't really like the idea of Air Support since it isn't really needed? A single FF can easily put a huge fire out with some knowledge as FF in OCRP.
And for the thing with cones and stuff. If they instead added a Fire Chief job (at least 2 additional firefighters on) When a Chief is appointed to Chief by the mayor, he could go to a fire locker (or the police locker) and take cones and other "blocking" equipment. And make normal FF gets ladders from the locker (they should weight 0!)
And i like the idea for the Rank 2 FF. But isn't it only the citizen extinguisher that runs out?

With the fire type thingy, I wonder if it is possible for the alert to determine the type of fire by the location. For example: A structural fire would be determined because it is located at subs, or a chemical fire is located because it is at the power plant? Pretty sketchy, but I could see it working.

Also, with the Fire Support thing, I was over-exaggerating with a heli. Idk :P
But I think there should be some sort of support able to be called in via a Fire Chief. Feel free to suggest!
Glad i could help you a bit :b But i still don't like the idea of support. Simply because a single firefighter can take out a whole fire. They just need to know how to handle it :)

What I think is to change channels is like press P and it will bring up this module kinda like the phone and you can hold Z to click on with channel you want to go to and maybe change volumes too. But I hope it's not too much scripting.
Why not make it switch channel by pressing T? Why make it so complicated?
I know the Devs said volume can't be changed tho.

Yeah... the system we have now saying only a tow truck driver can repair is just play stupid.  It is like saying you cannot take your car somewhere and pay the person to do it.  I know a lot of you will agree on this.  I think there should a way for the tow truck driver to have the wrench back, yet every time he swings it at a car that is broken, it takes money from your wallet, and if you do not have enough money, it does not completely repair it.  The only way they can have the wrench/spanner is if they are in the tow truck zone where the job is.  Meaning they still tow you there.  There is a way to make it so it gives them the item when they enter the area, and when they leave it strips it.  I have seen this done on other servers so I know it can be done.
Would be a a little more realistic. But i don't see the point of adding a wrench to the tow trucker, only to use it at the Tow Zone? If a wrench was added it should work everywhere(if the car isn't totally broken)(If it's totally broken it should be a NPC at the tow zone). Why not keep it the way it is? It would be unnecessary coding (imo) to make a wrench work in the tow zone, instead of the NPC that is there.

It would be so cool if you had a RPM meter up above the health meter, and you had to switch gears when you hit a certain point. It would be good because good drivers would know when to switch and would have good accuracy, while bad drivers would be slow and not accelerate very fast.

I think that going down speeds that you shouldn't have to switch, because the space bar is the only good button to use while your driving.

Also, if your RPM is to high and you don't change it , it should cause damage to your car.
I like the idea. But I don't know if it is possible in Garry's Mod? I don't know much about LUA 'N Shit :b

When will bodies be able to respawn while being dragged again? That was the dumbest addition I've ever seen.

I've seen people knock people out with their fists, then just hold them and drag them all the way to car dealer from nexus, just so they couldn't respawn.
Call an admin.

Anyway, the hopeful lua spam fix didnt work. Added another check into the file to help prevent it, gunna wait to restart it tho.
Couldn't you make it so you can drag a body for max 20 secs or so. It's plenty of time to get them away from a crime scene or so :)
