Alright so ill skip around; Other Games should be renamed to just Games. This makes a lot more sense and i believe this section can be used better. And Live Streams should be moved into it. Also a Civ board inside Games would be nice seeing Civ5 is being patched.
Second is Propisition 21 which calls for a complete forum cleanup. Why stop with VIP? Lets get rid of all the useless boards no one uses anymore in a effort to de-clutter the forums.
Will we ever have another Garry's Mod Racer server? No.
Will we ever have another Cinema Server? I hope not. Cinema is a failure itself now.
Will we ever have another Trouble in Terrorist Town server? No, TTT is too full of junky servers.
Will we ever have another Team Fortress 2 server? No.
Will we have another Minecraft server? Its failed so many times i dont see why we even have a board.
Will we have another rust server? It was poorly taken care of to begin with. I dont think its useful to keep the board.
CatalystFM is debatable, it might be useful when CGRP is eventually done but for now it wont hurt to hide the board.
HL2RP Admin Ranks need trashed. Seeing HL2RP wont be coming back i dont see why they are kept.
Apart from this we should begin a Public Archive section specifically for the Old HL2RP Boards and the Current one. Located at the VERY bottom of the forums this would house old but useful stuff (Unlike many gamemode boards we got).
To me i believe these changes would benefit the community. The reason behind it all is an act to move forward to the future rather than continue to be shadowed by our past and failures. I believe keeping the forum up to date is a major part of a community that is in a transition period which CG is in as we work on new gamemodes and only have 1 running. When new players join the forums they will be confused by all these gamemodes we have thinking we actually have servers for them... to only be saddened to know they are all gone yet we keep the skeleton hanging. Apart from this some board icons would be neat (I do know mods and use one myself that does this easily).
To end this all of this is my personal opinion. I know all our opinions are different and some of you will pitch a giant fit about some parts of this (Ranks). But that's why its a suggestion.

But i do have a little suggestion
maybe you can just ban the spammer from the same forum
Its pretty simple:
The spammer goes to the VIP Section and starts a Spam Thread
instead of banning him from the whole forum just ban him from the Vip Forum
add this little rule into your ToS and people should simply respact the rules more...and if they don't once you ban them they cant ask for a refund nor try to complain for fraud 
What the fuck are you even talking about? There aren't any 'spammers' or 'trolls'. Someone got angry that people aren't 100% serious at a gaming community 24/7 and that they should get in trouble for it.

Shouldn't be a suggestion. It is already in the rules.
We have a topic/post report feature for things like this. If you see posts that violate our forum rules, report it and forum administrators will deal with it sooner or later.
But thanks for notifying us about certain cases which seem to be handled too leniently.
I'm suggesting ENFORCING the rules more scrictly. These cases are handles too lightly, as you said.
As for tyrex, fourm rules still apply in VIP. How about you fuck off?
I never said forum rules didn't apply in VIP, I said it was never serious. What you consider shitposting, really isn't, it's just not serious. I honestly wish Spam was removed so this stupid fucking "go back to spam" thing stopped.

What makes me mad is that I posted in one of the HL2RP threads that I would make a poll on Sunday to give people more time to suggest gamemodes, this post being on a Saturday. Later on that Saturday I noticed THC posted a poll without even consulting me or anything. Not only did he do this, but he just fucked up the poll so badly.
Edit 1: For the following, call me elitist, warn me, ban me, I really don't care: I also wanted the poll to remain in the HL2RP forum so non-seriousRPers such as, (and I have nothing against these people I just don't believe their opinion is worth much when it comes to serious roleplay) Bish, Royal, some other people that I'm too lazy to look for. This way it wouldn't get skewed. Call me crazy that I want people that actually PLAY serious roleplay to decide where our serious RP server would be headed. I wouldn't want a random guy from Iraq voting on American domestic issues without doing any research or anything.

I don't like the idea of a teamspeak or steam chat event. Unless we have very strict administrating that will only allow one person to present their ideas at a time, it'll become a clusterfuck where only the most dominating personalities will be noticed while everyone else get's trampled.
I kind of agree with this. We have these forums for a reason, so why not just use them? This way everyone can see it and post their ideas. Honestly instead of making this thread that's what you should have done.

So it's been about a week since the polls closed and metro 2033 won. Now what? We have a lot of planning that needs to be done. We need to figure out gameplay, factions, items, rules, canon modifications, etc. I think it would be a good idea to do this mostly over the forums as a community.
However, we need to figure out a base for everything. Something to start off with and build/modify ideas on. Some People mentioned doing a community meeting in teamspeak. It won't be anything set in stone, just ideas to get things going.
So what are we going to do? Why not have this meeting Friday night at 11pm gmt (6pm eastern). If you can't attend then it would be fine. All the meeting means is to get base ideas figured out. Things can and will be changed after.
Thoughts?

Holy shit, so much drama over a set of shitty gamemodes... All I see coming of this is another attempt at making an SRP server which will just fall flat in 2 weeks.
This community was built around a lite rp game mode (ocrp) and that's purely why the srp servers aren't taking off - Too many rules and regulations for the average lite rp player to play by so they simply avoid it to avoid getting banned.
P.S. it always revolves around one over powered group in SRP with a small chance of overthrowing that group (which most of the time requires administrator observation otherwise people cry), after overthrowing the OP group, changes don't last a server restart and hence you are back to where you started.
Moral of the story: We need an SRP gamemode that has persistence.
This isn't the place to discuss this, it has already been decided. It's clear that 60+ people still want to play. Why do you care anyways, the majority of the people that want to serious rp won't play cgrp anyways.
