I had this nightmare... I was walking home at night, all I had was a flashlight. I'm pointing my flashlight around and shit, then I see this enormous spider web hanging across the street. I waved the flashlight along it, only to see huge, black spiders. They had white strips and were about 3 feet in diameter and 3 1/2 feet tall, there was about ten of them. Then there were babies, identically looking, except maybe only a foot in diameter and a foot tall, there was hundreds of them. Then I took a big spray can of pesticides, and sprayed the shit out of some of them. They like fizzled with bubbles and just dissolved away. Then I finally got to my house, I hopped on my computer, (This shit felt so real.), I looked them up, only to find classified information and some pictures. Then my nightmare ended.
I'm not sure if I should be posting in here, give me a warning if so. However, the time I have role-played with Jason has been enjoyable, he seems like an above average role-player and I think he could handle these.
Nick 'Pyro' Sandborn spots the note, reading over it, his eyebrow raised, "Good fuckin' luck Leonard... " He smirks, "I'll keep things out of a shithole while you're gone." He walks away lightly chuckling, unslinging his flamethrower.
The StrongHold focuses on researching and resolving issues within the Outlands, issues between factions or with other unknown threats. We are not a completely combat oriented group, but we like to keep it safe. For the most part, our base of operations is private and off-limits, but there are many exceptions. We are not a mercenary group, but if there is a large threat that is hostile to almost all factions, we will take action.

Filling up the ranks & Recruiting This is somewhat of a must. Currently, we only have a few members. The more members we have, the better chance we have at actually accomplishing other tasks.
Securing the Stronghold & the area around it Once this is accomplished, we can take our mind off safety and look towards other tasks.
Outlands investigation & Conflict resolving All operatives will be working on investigating and resolving issues within the Outlands. Either it's a conflict between two people or an antlion nest.
Mental State: Mentally stable, learned that death is death, that you can't do anything about it. Physical State: Physically strong, somewhat malnourished, no right arm.
Background: Nick 'Pyro' Sandborn was born in the United States of America, he was later evacuated into Eastern Europe. He was moved into the Canals. He was the average newcomer, defenseless. This would soon change as he became battle-hardened. He learned to adapt to the environment at a young age. He would soon create molotovs using: some spare empty beer bottles, the junk cars around him for gasoline, and cloth from old furniture. Fire would soon become his greatest hobby. He used a molotov to distract a hunter as he got away. He helped kill an evil vortiguant with another. During his times at the Canals, he was a loner, he loved the Clinic however, but was never in it. He used these until he moved to the Mountains. The trip there was horrendous, there were OTA Units everywhere. As they passed what is currently The Inn, he spotted an OTA Unit. He quickly chucked his molotov in there, relieving the ride of heavy AR2 fire. Later, there was a massive uncontrollable zombie. The zombie had injured many resistance members, this had to end. He attacked the zombie, stopping it in it's path with a molotov, it escorted itself around by car roof to car roof inside the dim tunnel. The group of Nick and two others chased the mutant into a corner. Nick hopped onto a nearby rooftop, aiming his gun at the mutant. He looked away for a split second, the zombie attacked. It lunged at Nick, grabbing onto him, pulling him off the car top. He landed with a thud, the mutant on top of him. The zombie ripped off Nick's right arm as it started gnawing on it. The log-rolled the zombie below him, using his knife to cut the zombie's head off. Nick was rendered unconscious from the blood loss without his arm. Dallas Marston had patched him up, he woke up later in the Alliance Bunker, "Where was I?", he asked. Later, him and Jon Geayman had discussed a new weaponry to fit his one arm. He remembered how much he loved fire and couldn't use his molotovs. Nick designed a new flamethrower, with a shotgun, some alcohol, gasoline, and a spray can. He was invited to the Clinic. Later he met Joanna, the love of his life. One time they were sleeping, as The Elder, the vortiguant leader, randomly attacked them. Nick stumbled for his shotgun, but could not reach it in time. The vortiguant hit them both, harming Joanna, but killing Nick. Nick was currently 'dead'. He did have some life left in him, the shock put him in a coma and in dangerous life conditions. Two vortiguants dug him up, and revived him. Later, he fought The Elder alongside the vortiguants, The Elder was killed. Much further on, after many events happened, the Clinic was a mess, he decided to leave after this, it was one of his best decisions. Nick had realized that there were more casualties among the resistance members fighting each other, rather than the combine. He established the Stronghold with his wife, Joanna. The Stronghold flourished, bringing in attention very quickly. He founded members, at first it was Nick, Joanna, and Dallas. Then, he recruited more people in. His recruitments were tough, but he wanted to be sure he had people he could trust with his life in the group. Currently, the Stronghold is a policing force, neutral to all other groups, they mostly reside in the abandoned house.
