Me and Matt are having a fight about the correct way to say it. We Americans are obviously better! :D

I say it like Psycho says it, although the word doesn't come up often. In my area of the country, New England, common aluminum items like aluminum foil use the word "tin." (Aluminum foil is tin foil here, for example)

Ive never heard to pronounced the "American" or the "English" way. Maybe youre crazy.

It's the english way.

Variations of words are quite common in different areas of the world. Use whatever you prefer, and stop bickering.
