about the roads I just made them this wide and I couldn't really change it afterwards. ( based on the Nederland I also used google maps to see how big the cars were etc)
I also left the stairs like that because I thought it didn't really matter.
I'll change the water texture, I had a better water texture first but it didn't have a cheap texture so there was lag in the map.
I might add a 3d skybox or make the map bigger and clip the sides.
and I might add even more detail to the forest because some areas have less detail because I made them on a other time, maybe a cave.
A lot of people were also asking for breakable windows but I don't think I can add that.(and Evocity doesn't have breakable windows only downtown)
and I will try maybe adding a small building because there are only 3 suburban houses and 3 apartments.

When I make a new map i'll make sure I do everything right :P

Serious lol I've been looking for some tall and wide trees like the one in the 3rd picture.

they are from ep2 and l4d2

some people might remember my post in 2011 about me making a map rp_headattackcity_v1
yesterday I finally released it

After 3 years i finally finished my map not 3 years in total maybe 400 / 500 hours mapping but it took so long because I sometimes didn't have motivation ..)

im still working on my map rp_headattackcity i posted something here long ago i just started all over again with the map because i couldn't fix a bug but now i got like 50 % brush and now the lightning is flikkering in hdr mode
but i dont want do delete that because i want the best looking -.- i use func_detail for leaf ambiend ldr or something because there will come unlighted shadow lol but now my ent data is 85 %

(the map is max limited and open skybox for helis and stuff )

and with rp_flatgrass_final and other version i just copied the buildings when i was making v1 then i had no experiance but now i have but i just made new versions for Rp_Flatgrass and i didnt delete the stole buildings.

Already did and I laughed. Nothing is stolen here. Just looks really funny. No roofs have overhang, its all hl2 and css textures. It has an unrealistic layout for a city, and I cont possibly see how a helicopter will cross into other areas of the map. I hope this isn't a final cause if it is... ROFLMFAO

how do you mean not city layout and i cant make it such realistic because i make every building not fake i dont like that :D

the map has a high skybox
so if my map is done maybe if it got hosted by ocrp they should add helis or jets :D
