Catalyst Gaming's Deathrun
Ladies and Gentelmen, I am happy to annouce that Catalyst Gaming Deathrun is on the run.
Over the past few days, I have been working on a deathrun gamemode for Catalyst Gaming, and today we are announcing it.

But Crap-Head, what is Deathrun???
Deathrun is a game based on two teams, The Runners and The Deaths.
The goal of the runners is to complete the map and make it to the end where they will be given a gun so that they can kill the deaths.
The thing is, it's not that easy. The deaths will do ANYTHING to prevent the runners from completing the map, such as deadly traps that the Runners have to get past!
Some of the traps are hidden very well, so always have an eye open!

Some of the features:
  • A huge store that sells: Hats, Heads, Masks, Trails and Player Models
  • A nice and simple HUD
  • Round System
  • Earn points by killing an enemy or by winning a round
  • VIP System
  • Chat Tags
  • A slightly customized sandbox scoreboard (Custom one is something we are planning to do)
And more to come!


With the VIP system comes VIP benefits.

VIP Benefits:
  • Unlimited ammo for the M4A1 at the end of the map
  • 100 Armor
  • A VIP tag in the chat
  • A VIP tag in the scoreboard
        And more to come!

Media is always a big part of a thread, so I wont let this end without some pictures!

Plans for the next update
  • Gold Member support
  • VIP's get 1.5x more points for winning and killing players
  • Gold Member's get 2x as many points as regular players
  • Custom chatbox (Its almost done. Just need some more work)
  • Custom scoreboard
  • Might add the OCDM Pointshop for this
  • Fixing all the bugs that might show up after the release

Deaths spawns at: info_player_terrorist
Runners spawns at: info_player_counterterrorist

Maybe this could replace one of the less-used gamemodes, like harbor RP or GMR... I rarely see anyone playing those anymore.

Few things on the VIP page:

- Fix the spelling of "appreciate"
- Change anything to do with "buying VIP" to "donating for VIP". Nobody "buys" anything, as that could be considered against the law.

These pictures were taken befor Max spell checked everything. So that "appreciate" is already fixed.

No, it's absolutely not. Crap-Head completely coded it himself, along with help from Its Max Blad.
