111.3 FM Valley Public Radio

What is VPR?
A both IC and OOC radio the station is designed to promote Outlands Roleplay and will feature more speech than music, don't worry though, music is provided! We currently have an IC library of about 30 vynil tracks and will probably be updated by about 5 songs/week if that.

The station is based at the "abandoned house" which, if possible, will become a permanent fixture for the station. Some images are below.

What does it broadcast?
The station is public and is free for people to come up, it will host frequent talks goes and live music sessions with people who can ICly play guitar, on top of that the station will keep people informed on IC events such as weather and admin events, businesses, broadcasts, and such.

The radio is currently on a trial period on a free radio site with a 5000 person licence. However, if it is a success I will pay for a permenant radio station.

I want to be a part of this!
If you want to become a DJ I will need to see you ICly and give you IC "training" on the use of the Outland style radio transmitters. You will also then need to apply in this post using this format:

Note: Due to the complexity of the system in place and the way that the system works. Sam BC4 must be used on this station. I will happily help people set up and use Sam BC4 if they have not before.

EDIT: Down after 1Hr 56Min broadcast.
The free provider randomly drops people out which is strange. I'll work on getting this fixed for my last trial tomorrow (Which comes with the applications) and then buy a host on saturday (hopefully).

Sorry guys I've put this on hiatus while I work on a project for the city server. I'll be putting it back up again when it's all finished.
