Support & Help / Re: Regarding the new v33x map.
« on: February 11, 2012, 03:07:39 AM »
Alright, this was recorded in singleplayer, (http://youtu.be/YnNfQxHno5s (FYI The account name was made when I was 9) note my fps is normally 60 and it goes to 20-25 on normal. but looking at the place it drops to like 5. I don't know why this is and I don't know how to fix it, It will be VERY annoying because it happens wherever I am at the map.

Maybe it's a coding error? I just know that I cannot raid, defend a raid, and drive that well with this, and most people will be on the new server, any help is appreciated.

I always noticed some lag around the izzy palace place but not enough to effect my game play. You have the CC overflow launch option thing right? I don't know the command right off the top of my head. Maybe someone else has it in here?

Suggestions / Re: Server Auto-Restart
« on: February 08, 2012, 08:12:30 PM »
Also, the problem might not be just a restart. If a server is unable to connect to a database, it will not work just because of a restart.

Code something smarter than your problems. IE Something that detects Database up/downs and scans it thrice before actually committing the restart.

Unless this has a proper interface, I would have to say no.

Just because it doesn't have a stupid friendly interface doesn't mean it wont work ya know.

Still would be worth a try IMO. May actually lead to more uptime and Graphics cards donations for rofl.

Yeah this would be a good idea. But I don't know what the technical side of what they have going looks like.

The admins can easily check the logs as long as you had withdrawn/deposited money before and after you got banned

This is me assuming its for OCRP.

General Discussion / Re: Photoshop?
« on: February 05, 2012, 05:04:25 PM »
I have Photoshop CS5, and I haven't found a single other picture editing program that does better. I've gone through quite a lot of different software though.

Gimp does a lot of stuff like photoshop. But still has less features.

Erm... Wrong section

I'm sure it was just mistaken for a section to get suggestions from people. Anywho the "Elements" are just dulled down versions of the actual program. So you don't have all the features the actual photoshop has.

Half-Life 2 Roleplay / Re: Voidable rp?
« on: January 25, 2012, 04:22:43 PM »
I was wondering in some situations is it allowed to void it or disconnect?
Today a group of males tried to rape my character but I am not going to sit their and role play that because it's gross and degrading.

Considering that's a real RP situation then you would be forced to weather you like it or not. Unless it was just a group of minges doing it somewhere in the UCH stairwell or in front of nexus.

It's not recommended you boot your os from external drives. Especially not USB drives. As for steam you will need to reinstall it to the drive in order for it to work.

Hover over 'home' in the top left of this page then click profile. After that look for the 'modify profile' button and go to 'forum profile' on the bottom of that page you should see a signature section. In order to put a image on it you will need to upload the image to a image hosting website then include a link to it in image brackets
Code: [Select]

Support & Help / Re: Resolution problems
« on: January 22, 2012, 11:26:58 PM »
Im using a Gtx 560 graphics card and a 23" screen (HANNS.G HL231dbp) on windows 7. For some reason windows 7 is only letting me use 1620 x 1200 as my resolution despite the fact that this screen supports 1920 x 1080 as its max. I managed to fix it on my desktop with a nvdia program but the problem is still there for games. If any one knows how to get pass this or fix it please tell me. I am also using a VGA cable for the screen if that would effect it in any way.

Your resolution is probably not supported by the game engine just like mines not either. I recommend just running in windowed mode and getting it as big as possible without cutting it off.
