I believe you need to have gotten hit three times before its considered self defense. Society is corrupt about this shit... I had a buddy get suspended for 3 days because some guys were sexually hurrassing his girlfriend and another guys girl, one random kid stood up to them started to get his ass beat and my buddy jumped in and threw one of them down a small flight of stairs. One hell of a day.

Combat is different in many ways depending on the situation. Such as tank combat is far different the small arms combat. If you really want to get a feel for combat go play some paintball or airsoft, as it is very fun and you get an adrenaline rush from it. Other than that I have no first hand experience with combat...
