Hello everyone, after a long while I decided to come back to CG and give hl2rp another try. I left due to a lot of drama that I'd rather not  go into detail because it's in the past and done with. I was with CG for a while. I'm sure if you look in post history you'll see it go back a bit. I thought since I left and am now back I should just give a small recap of what's happened to me while I've been gone as there's been some good and some bad.

The good

Surprisingly school has been okay. I got myself into honor-roll with an 87% average. Besides that I've managed to restart my social life and made some new friends that I see every now and again. For the most part I'm happy how school has been going because I thought it'd be an absolute nightmare.  I even got a new computer, it's pretty beefy so hopefully I will be able to play a lot of games on ultra

The Bad :c

Well it seems my body hates me as I've recently been diagnosed with a few things. The first being scheuermann's Kyphosis (AKA scheuermann's disease) and the second being Osgood–Schlatter's disease.

Basically, Scheuermann's kyphosis means I have a compression in my spinal disc (one of them apparently is larger than the others and is pushing on some of the discs) and will have to deal with back pain as well as the chance of developing a spinal curvature :C. The second, Osgood–Schlatter's disease, isn't as bad but still sucks. My tibia will go into my knee and hit my ligament, causing  pain and inflammation

Supposedly, there isn't anything for me to do but deal with the leg and back pain until it hopefully goes away later on in my life. The good news is that I'm taking some pills for the pain and inflammation so hopefully that will help. If a curvature does develop I was told I'd put in a back brace to prevent further development (so that's good)

This is a suggestion for an event that would include almost everyone. Citizens, CCA, and OTA (not webuls due to lack of co-operation)
 
The CCA and OTA woud make all the citizens make a line in the Plaza and select citizens (Can be random or through a method) and use them for tests and experiments (in or out of the Nexus).

Some experiments might be for Biological research (like the projects Statua is working on) and/or to have new/modified weapons used on them as well as for other projects.

This is just an event I scrapped together that  would include the majority of the server and not just have citizens face a wall for 2 hours while the OTA quickly kill whatever is causing the problem(s).

One morning, Beef woke up to a radio message from Beans “Beef, I need you to make Matther a silencer for his MP7.” Beef headed to the inn where he got some tools including a screwdriver and some sandpaper. Luckily his buddy Needles gave him a metal cylinder, around the same as his. It seemed like it would be big enough but he was also given 2 others if it didn’t which there's always a chance he will need spares..

He sat down at the basement of the inn where he could use the workbench to get started on the cylinder’s innards. He took a screw driver and made groove like marks on the inside of the cylinder, but not so deep for an hour or being careful as to not make mistakes. He then made sure that other end of the cylinder that the barrel would not screw in deeply to the larger part of the cylinder, this way; the enclosed gas behind the bullet would expand and reduce the sound.  Sadly, this reduced velocity and made the gun heavier aswell, but it seemed worth it. He checked both sides of the cylinder to look for cracks or dents. There was one dent, so he took the second cylinder that did not have any dents and began the process again.

After 2-3 hours, Beef then began to make the same groove like markings onto the MP7’s barrel that way the silencer was detachable and attachable. When he was finished making the grooves he used some sand paper to smoothen the rough edges of the grooves. He twisted the cylinder onto the MP7’s barrel and it seemed to fit tightly. The silencer had to be, and was bigger than the MP7’s barrel or else it would not make a difference in sound which at this quality, wasn't all that much.

He made quick checks to see if it fit, which it did.


What will these authorizations give your character in regards to perks or defects?
Perks
-Matther's MP7 will have reduced sound but not extrenly and only if the silencer is attached.

-Due to the silencer the muzzle flash will also be reduced.

- The silencer is detachable and attachable.


Defects
- Not as mobile with the weapon when the silencer is attached.

- It is harder to conceal the weapon with the silencer attached as it add length to the weapon

- With the silencer attached the weapon is heavier.

- Due to the silencer not being properly made it doesn't silence the gun as well as it should.

- it takes a bit of time to properly remove the silencer.

- Bullet velocity is reduced when the silencer is attached.



What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I plan to give Matther 'Shadow' Mcdermit a modified weapon that will add to weapon/gunfight rp and hopefully in the future to improve the modifications.

One day as Beef had awoken he heard some radio chatter. Beef picked up his handheld radio and asked, “What’s going on?” Not soon after he heard a reply from Beans, “Beef, come to The Inn Now.”  Following what he was told he soon arrived at the Inn at Belles town. Once he entered he saw his brother Beans, Paul and Sophia. They had told him that they were going to travel back into the city, to pick up some people. They were handed fresh civilian clothing and told only to pack the essentials as well as compact weapons only. Soon after this they were dismissed to pack up. Once at home he watched as his brother packed the basics: one health vial, water, his Mossberg 500 with 1 box of ammo and finally some socks. Beef on the other hand looked at his HK MP7 on the table, thinking that if they were going to hideout in the city; his weapon couldn’t attract too much attention if in a gun fight.

He looked over to see some junk lying about near the car that Beans and his friends were working on. He began routing through the items finding a rather large aluminum cylinder, most probably a piece of the muffler. He took the cylinder back to the Shack and compared the barrel of his MP7 to the cylinder. The beginning of the cylinder was was about 2 times the size of the barrel and the longer part that passed the barrel was about 3 times as big. Beef also saw it was pre- hollowed, probably for the car. Now, Beef only had to find a way that it was detachable and attachable. He looked around and spots a screw driver. He then takes the screw driver and starts making beginning bit of the cylinder’s internals resemble the mark left by a screw once unscrewed, but he did not go too deep, for that would destroy the purpose of this piece. Soon he began doing the same to his MP7’s barrel, to allow the cylinder to be attachable as a silencer. Being extremely cautious as to hopefully not damage the weapon he soon saw the end of the MP7’s barrel matched the cylinder’s internals.
Once he cleaned away the dust he attached the cylinder to the gun. It fit easily over the barrel as it was much bigger but would fall off it were not locked firmly into place by the screw like marks left by the screwdriver. Beef aimed at a distanced tree and fired.  As doing so he realised that the silencer did work that the sound was suppressed as the enclosed gas behind the bullet was allowed expand and while lowering the bullets velocity, it reduced the sound of it.

When attacking at night it would be more stealthy as the weapon is mostly suppresed
It will also be used when firing in the city/outlands in hopes that less attention is attracted
