Cheers rang out across the valley. Corpses of dead Overwatch soldiers lay across the bloodied ground. The refugees shared there own casualties, and were working on wrapping around what they had just accomplished. The wounded lied smiling, knowing if they'd die here and now, they died taking a hell off a lot of Union scum with them. Every now and then, a few stray shots echoed throughout the valley as scattered Overwatch troops were gunned down by refugees of Ineu Pass.
News made it back to Command. They had failed. Their forces failed to overcome those bunkered down, and the supposedly battered down Resistance members held the onslaught back. If they'd killed so many soldiers before, what would stop them from doing so again? Now they were prepared, had OTA equipment, and were up for the challenge. Shelling the pass with headcrab canisters would do some damage, but the headcrabs surely wouldn't pose much of a threat. Something bigger needed to go in. Something that could march down the valley and attack the bunker with brute force and blast their concrete fortifications to pieces. A few 'Striders', as they call them, would do the job.
Seeing as the continually failing Overwatch raids on the pass are occuring, I think it would warrant a few striders being sent to the location. They would obviously be accompanied by other Synths as well as Combine infantry. Pretty much what I'm suggesting is a full on assualt by the Union upon the valley itself. An obviously huge battle would occcur throughout the pass, involving everyone, bringing them together for something big. It'd be nice if actual OTA players came this time as well ^^
