1) Please write a minimum of 3 paragraphs OOC'ly detailing why your character wishes to join the Combine Civil Authority and what lead your character to do so.
          Carson FitzGibbon had always wanted to join the CCA after whitnessing the death of his brother, Nikoli. He wants to help out and be a part of  the good the Union does for the city. The big push that made him want to join up was the death of his brother though, nothing was more moving, more motivating than that.

          He began his training by trying to stay in shape. He lifted cinder blocks that were found lying around trash piles. He also began working his loyalist points up, he reached a total of 8 loyalist points. He is a proud member of the loyalist program.

          Even before the invasion he always wished to do good for the human race. Even after they wiped out most the population he still wanted to be with them, they would of survived if they just didn't fight back. They would of just, been left aside, there on Earth to live another day! He knew he was wise to make that decision to stay hidden. Now his life is leading up to this moment, the application that will most likely change his future in city 45.

          He will forever remember all the training he did, all his hard work to get to this point. It's all up to you. Will you be a cold anvil? Crushing a single man's hopes to do the good you do? Or help him onto the metaforic train of salvation, going on the path with the others to live a new life on this planet. A new life, in the CCA.

Carson FitzGibbon is very trustworthy, he will take many tasks seriously and get them done. He is also quite strong, his ability to run fast also applies because of his strong calf muscles. (He walks on his tip-toes a lot.) But he cannot run as long as others could.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
          The Combine Civil Authority will be, at some times, brutal and challenging with obstacles to overcome. But sometimes the life as an officer will be slow and relaxed. When on patrol, it's always going to be relaxing and slow paced. Listening to the sounds of the city, the noise of the occational train arrival. And the noise of quiet civilians talking amongst themselves.
         
          But at times of unrest, when people come out to fight with no reason. The life will be fast paced. Every step you take could be your last. Every thing you do takes part in deciding if you live to save the city, or die trying. Some times will be filled with frustration and agony. Angering over citizens running and jumping around while you cannot respond. The uncivil activities! All the unrest building your anger like the Citidel on the first weeks of the Combine arrival! Overall being in the CCA is a bumpy road to salvation.

4) Please provide a detailed back-story from an out-of-character perspective on your applying character. This section must be detailed and consist of a minimum of 300 words.
          Carson FitzGibbon was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He attended a poor Catholic School. Although the school did not look perfect, the academics were at high standards. He then moved on to Nolan High, and got a scholarship to M.I.T. He moved to Michigan to attend and left his family in Texas. At this time, his adopted older brother, Nikolia, was living in Russia. At age 23 he flew to Moscow to visit his older brother, Nikolia. On his last day there, the Combine took over, he fled the area and got to a nearby bomb shelter build in the 1970's. His retreat was a dangerous one because he had to cross through streets of raging fires and dead police officers and military personel. He survived on simple canned beans for a few weeks.

          When he emerged, he found the city in ruins. He wandered for a while and then got his first glimps of the partially built Citidel. It was already huge, towering over the city like a skyscraper. He fled to a nearby apartment complex and stayed there living off another man's food supply. He stayed there for at least ten weeks. He left when the food was running low and he needed to restock. He soon found an abandon Wal-Mart where he stayed for about five months. Later one day he was met by a small group of men wearing tattered uniforms and greenish beanies. They were holding pistols. One confronted him about how he was starting a resistance, how he was going to fight back. But Carson just ignored all the influence. They left after they had gathered some food from the store.

          Another month passed until he saw a man walking through the streets with an MP7. The first CCA Officer. He was the rank of 01 because he was one of the first to join them. Carson got out of the store and confronted him asking, “What’s going on?” and, “What’s happening?” He explained what had happened and how Wallace Breen surrendered humanity. He sounded rather proud of himself. After years of staying loyal, he finally began to understand what the real good of the Union was, how they saved us from so much evil.
   
          The officer lead him to an apartment complex where he was to stay. And he did stay, for about one year. He began to work for them, cleaning and helping out.  Then, he witnesses a nightmare, he was going about his buisness, walking through the streets, when a group of men emerged from the alleyway, all armed with weapons.
   
         They fired upon the nearby officers. A hail of bullets hit the man about 4 feet away from him. After the rebels were killed, he ran to the injured man. He recognized him as Nikolai. He died that day, he wasn't able to move at all, he never got any help because of how servere his injuries were... He died in the CWU hospital. This set Carson on his path to the Union. Now, he wants to avenge his brother more than anything in the world.

          On Cyrus Gaming, I had a citizen. He was in City 11. His name was Carson FitzGibbon. He stepped into the smaller apartment complex not knowing what troubles would await him. When he was inside, he whitnessed a member of the RcR (Russian Covert Rebelion), pointing a gun at an officer.

          They were discussing an agreement, the man turned to him and the officer jumped at the RcR unit. Carson helped fight off the officer and was initiated into the RcR. From that day forward he was an offical unit of that branch of the Rebelion.

Carson FitzGibbon has always wanted to be in a position of power. He's always wanted to be with the police force before the invasion. After it happened, he found what good the CCA was doing for the world. They had fixed the polution problems, no more over populations, and best of all, they had plenty of food and water to go around! He found the good in ther Union and set his life goal to joining the CCA. He began to do good for the CCA like cleaning the city or reporting anti-citizens. His hard work payed off, he soon earned five loyalist points so that he could be deemed loyalist. He had wanted to be with the Union because of how much effort they were putting into saving our species and race. He wants to be part of that good.

Carson FitzGibbon isn't all too 'by the book', he sometimes strays on his own path, but when he has been doing it for a while, he gets better. He is the best at following orders and he is pretty good with medicine and other things in that nature.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I expect that the CCA will be very tough and frustrating at some times, but when passive begins, the fun sets in. My character will most likely experiance many hardships such as; Beatings for incorrect behavior, some injuries from accidents or misbehaving citizens, and many head aches from minges. Over all, being in the CCA will probobly be a very good experiance in my roleplaying life here at CG and in other Serious HL2RP servers around Garry's Mod.

Carson FitzGibbon was born in Moscow by American parents. He was 23 when the invasion occured. His parents survived with him in an old bunker. When they emerged, the city was in ruins. They wandered the city for around 2 days, then they saw posters declaring Breen's surrender. They read it in dismay and were not happy with his decision to let humanity go. But over time, Carson realized that they were keeping us preserved! They had saved us from ourselves. His parents died from old age, and now he lives alone. He was 33 when he recieved the loyalist armband. Now he is making his application to join into the CCA. The rest of his life is determened by you.

My most memorable RP experiance was at Cyrus Gaming. I was on patrol when a man came to me acting very strange. He told me to come with him, I followed him and he took me to an alley. He pointed to it and I looked in, I saw two men speaking about an attack. They both were armed with pistols. I quickly took out my MP7 and shoved the man that reported them aside. I aimed and told them to freeze. One tried to shoot but I shot him in the chest, he died within the hour. The other was arrested and amputated. The citizen that reported them was issued two loyalist points and was told to keep up his good work.
