Keep Minecraft, I'm working on getting it up still. Just making some performance adjustments.

As long as it's being used for what spam is supposed to be used for, I support it. Random pictures, forum games, etc.

Don't turn this thread into a debate about spam. It doesn't go anywhere.

I'm perfectly fine with a board for forum games, dumb/quick questions, etc.

i meant ocrp 2 let me fix that i already fixed ocrp 1
Since you registered today the gamemode would probably not be given to you to work on.

However as Nick said, the gamemode isn't broken. It has a few problems which can be fixed.

Any estimation for when the server will be up?
I'm loaded down with final exams and work right now. Sometime this week hopefully.

Working with terribly written code is difficult, that's why I'm remaking HRP2.

Nice to see a restart, however. OCRP was getting old and we needed something new. Best of luck with CGRP.

Well, it's a tie between Ultimate FTB and Other. For other, it appears that Tekkit Lite is what most people want. What do you guys want? I'll change the poll until tomorrow.

http://learnxinyminutes.com/docs/lua/

this is very nice for a quick "ok here is the language and its basics" presented to u in the language its self through comments, might be confusing until you have a grasp on programming languages in general and the "language" that programming languages use (whats a variable, an array, etcetc)

site also has other languages which is nice

Take a look at Learn Lua in 15 Minutes here. You're not going to actually learn Lua in 15 minutes, however it's basically a tutorial written in code. The explanation is written in comments and explain what you're looking at.

Yeah..

Also, note that if you ever need help go to Facepunch.com. That's the heart of GMod coders. http://facepunch.com/forumdisplay.php?f=65

has anyone considered just not having a mod pack and adding a few select mods that we need/want

No because that means everyone who wants to play on the server has to go out of his way to manually google and download them all.
And knowing that no one cares to do that, the server will be empty as fuck.
FTB is simply plug&play.

<::[[ Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S2 using Tapatalk 2 ]]::>

dont have mods that people need to download, its really not that difficult

I've played on PLENTY of minecraft servers that just have some simple Bukkit mods, such as admin, basic commands, maybe some cool features like perks and the like.
Ah, you're talking about Bukkit plugins. That's what we had at first and no one liked it.

I don't understand how there's so many (Performance or normal) issues running a FTB server?
When you're running a FTB server(Which is a RAM hog to begin with) on a server box that is also running multiple GMod servers, you don't have much room for performance on each server.

As for just having a few mods, I'd rather not do that. That means that anyone that wants to join our server will have to manually download and install the mods.
