Well I've always liked Darkrp, and so has a lot of my other friends. However Harbor RP and Orange Cosmo's just isn't really what DarkRP is. Now yes, I know, Harbor RP is kind of a DarkRP but it's all focused around water and boats a such. I was just thinking of a rp_downtown_v4 DarkRP. You know, not all that serious, more just a screw and fuck around kind of mode. Most of the modes on CG are all very serious. Just thinking that it would be nice to try a new screw around game mode.

I don't think this would happen. HRP is already DarkRP, just ocean themed with boats instead of cars. As stated before in many other suggestion threads, the administration team just isn't active/large enough to take on another server. Yes, we could get more, but if we were /forced/ to recruit new admins because of another server I can guarantee you that those admins wouldn't exactly be the best at doing their job. Recruiting a new admin isn't easy, as we always try to make sure that we pick the right people for the job, which makes our current recruiting system pretty much fool proof.

DarkRP has troll written all over it. When people see a DarkRP gamemode, a lot of them think it'll be fun to come in and ruin the gameplay for everyone else. Plus, we're not that kind of community. HarborRP is about as lite RP as we go.

I like DarkRP, It provides a good RP experience combined with the sandbox aspect of Garry's Mod. I love the players and think the vote to have a job is a great idea because then the popular kids can have the gun jobs and pew everybody.

Um, no. People on Harbor Roleplay already seem to lack most roleplaying ability. The last thing we need is a ton of people from the DarkRP side of things running around this community, especially the trolls/griefers that always follow. We still have some more serious roleplaying servers, the last thing we need, again, is a "get guns, get money, kills cops" gamemode, which DarkRP definetely is.

It could make a shitload of money and could attract other players to our community - the problem is that to make it unique, we'd need a developer dedicated to that server - what we don't have.

If you go on any Dark RP server there is almost no admins because all of them get worn out. Reports will constantly come on HRP every couple minutes I could  see dark RP being worse. Though yes it would provide a lot of money.

I hate DarkRp becuz it have a little map and limited things, i wanted to get out of DarkRp and i found Catalyst Gaming, i love the way Catalyst Gaming makes Rp servers that isn't so popular

DarkRP doesn't need to use the Downtown map, it could use Evocity. As you say, we use RP gamemodes that aren't popular. There is only one other community with OCRP that I have seen, and HL2RP is quite popular, but ours is pretty unique. HRP is one of a kind and we plan to keep it that way. DarkRP is overused, and all it does is attract trolls.

Dark RP won't be happening if not ever then at least for a hell of a long time. The reasons already listen above pretty much explain why.
