I'm not sure if this is still a problem, but I've held off reporting it for a while. If I have my pistol equipped on my CCA unit, and disconnect from the server for whatever reason, it disappears entirely. This happened twice and both times SMT had to redeem it. Jack Lambart wishes to join the CCA because he wants the respect, power, and sense of duty. He wants to have a stable life and to be safe. He sees all of these things in the CCA, he also understands serving will be easier than to resist and be more stable and providing for him. 

Jack Lambart has been a loyalist for a few years now and he thinks he can handle whatever the CCA could throw at him. He knows he will have a rough time getting through the training of the CCA but he thinks he can handle it and become a Civil Protections Officer. Serving is what he was born to do.

Jack Lambart knows the CCA are there to preserve the peace and to keep order. He is ready to serve with all his might, he will never try to betray the CCA and he will sacrifice his life for his companions in the CCA. Jack Lambart will never betray the CCA.

Jack Lambart is loyal, courageous and obedient.
He is loyal because he has served and lived by the Union for several years now and is trustworthy until the end.
He is courageous because even when those around him could not take the CCA anymore decided to revolt, he stood by the CCA no matter what, never giving up.
He is obedient because not once has he been detained for any unlawful action.

3) Please provide 2 paragraphs about what you are expecting the Combine Civil Authority to be like for you and your character.
I expect the Combine Civil Authority to be an learning experience for me and my character. I also think joining the CCA will better my role playing abilities in Catalyst Gaming. For my character, it would be more of an achievement, the uniform, and stun stick, being more intelligent and being superior. He is a little cocky, and because of his confidence, he will stop at nothing to make it to the Combine Civil Authority. He hasn't really killed anyone, nor hurt anyone seriously, but he is prepared to do so, if that is what it takes to join the CCA.
I also expect the CCA will be extremely fun since being a citizen is so fun. I hope to have a very long and intriguing role playing experience while playing as a CCA. I also would like to try and meet the other side of catalyst gamming and its players. I expect this will be a great experience for me and intriguing.

Jack Lambart was born August 8th 1990. As a child Jack liked to fight and bully around the other kids.  At the age of 12 Jack was expelled from school and was private schooled until age of 14. When Jack became the age of 15 he decided he wanted to do more with his life. Jack also realised he wanted more respect from his peers. So he decided he was going to change his ways and do things for the better good of the people.

By the age of 18, Jack decided he wanted to go to college, and get a good career when he graduated. He got into college and stayed for 3 years of his course. He quit so he could go back home to his family and help hide them during the 7 Hour War. The combine soon found Jack and his family. They soon slaughtered his son and wife because they were believed to be Rebel supporters.

Soon after they bound him and shipped him off to City 45. He was lost on his first day there and he was surrounded by the combine forces.  Jack had no clue what he should do at this point he was grieving for the loss of his wife and child. He was soon ordered to go to his apartment and put away his small amount of rings he was allowed to keep and take with him to c45. When he finished he decided to walk around and get to know the people of the city and what the city looked like. On his way around he was mugged by a citizen and a CCA unit saved his life. Soon after the mugging Jack wandered the streets thinking about what he should do. That is when he decided he wanted to join the CCA. So he could protect those who could not protect themselves.

Zekiel Baker wishes to join the CCA for multiple reasons. The first being that even when he wants to stop those who are disrupting the peace of city 45, he only has the power to report. He wishes for the power to bring justice to those who are only there to bother, disrupt, and kill. He wants the peace of a harmonized society to be maintained in city 45.

 The second reason was the benefits. The very first time he recieved his loyalist points was when he returned an MP7 to unit 117. Not long after that, he was given Loyalist status by the same unit. Rations were handed out and a unit issued 2 rations. Zekiel was shocked to see the sudden extra ration increase. He was told that it was for his loyalist status and congratulated on his clean record. He realized that the things he is doing have rewards.

 The third reason being that he realized he cannot trust his friends. He was shocked to learn that they had plenty of crime points on their files, and he reported any of the ones whom he knew were a threat. He was close friends with them, but he did what was necessary to protect society from them. He even had watched a friend die in front of him from a report he sent in, but he understood that it was necessary.

I hope that it will be a tough learning experience. I want a fresh, rich, and well played role play experience in my time as a CCA officer. I understand that doing that also entails being able to remember the large sum of radio codes, civil offenses, and the responsibility which comes with the CCA . But I believe I can do it and make RP better for everyone as a whole.

But for Zekiel it will be hard considering the fact that he doesn't form relationships well. He will work hard to what he wants to achieve as a CCA unit. He will make sure he makes no mistakes and if he does he shall take full responsibility. He also hopes that this will give him a chance to do something about those who wish to disrupt social harmony rather than report it and not be able to do anything about it himself.

His qualities also led him to be bullied by many of the students in his class. He had endured through his harsh time in the school until he had graduated.

 2008-2012: After graduating from the school, Zekiel got the money he needed to live a proper life by doing odd jobs on his family's farm. Having been bullied heavily, he grew to become a sort of "open book." He soon made quick friends with a young woman in his time in highschool, whom went by the name of Mariah Traughtner. Their friendship quickly grew, and they began a wonderful relationship with eachother around the 11th year of their highschool education.

 2012-2015: Zekiel continued his job on the farm, money and work becoming harder and harder to come by. His mother was going on a walk through the town where she was mugged and killed. Confused and too frightened to question him, he leaped out while he watched his father fly to one of the openings, never seeing him again. The might of the Combine was crushing society as a whole. All Zekiel and Mariah could do was watch.

 Mid 2015: As the Combine force swept the entire Earth, people were transported to cities all around the world, the city Zekiel and Mariah called home being City 18. Zekiel had made many friends in the city whilst under the boot of the harsh CCA force there. Some being rebels and others even Loyalists. He owned a shop in the city, and had ran out of a certain product that was requested highly by other civilians, Zekiel asked Mariah to perform the job of getting the shipment and she happily accepted. While on her way back, a report over the city of Necrotics flooding the plaza was played over the speakers. As Zekiel exited the shop, surrounded by zombies, he saw Mariah not far away. As she was running, a vocoded "FIRE!" screamed across the plaza. A dark energy ball ripped through several of the beings in the plaza, one of them being Mariah.

Zekiel was a broken man. He had lost friends, family, and loved ones. Seeing no other path to redeeming his previous life, he made the final decision to become a Loyalist.

An OTA operation on the slums must be done which requires a SYNTH.HUNTER unit to carry out several kills and attacks on the people of Precinct 3. In the HUNTER's slaughter, it doesn't notice that a high-value rebellion member slipped out, it JUST notices him and darts after him. As the HUNTER runs after the rebel, he jumps onto the train tracks, avoiding the electrified metal beams. The HUNTER, only focusing on getting the rebel, does not notice them. As it steps on it electricity courses up its body. Several screaming radio transmissions are heard and the frequency falls dead. One of the OTA (Or other high class CCA) go to the location to check the situation out. Finding the HUNTER, he goes to check if it's okay. It turns, firing 2-3 shots into his body. (Its targeting system and (whatever part that is used to take commands) is shot.) As the CCA hear more on the situation, they begin protecting themselves before they protect the Citizens. As one of the CCA run to the Precinct 3 gates, the HUNTER follows quickly behind. The CCA unit is shot at, the flechettes barely missing, they continue until they hit anything. They impact the metal that blocks off an area of the city. Detonating, they shut off the energy sheild that once kept whatever was on the other side at bay. The HUNTER, growing curious, steps in only to notice necrotics are filling the area from the blasted sheild. The HUNTER fights them back, but eventually gets swarmed. As the HUNTER had almost always only made body shots, the headcrabs had lived through the attack. Hundreds of headcrabs begins filling the plaza, scurrying through the vents to get into buildings and through several holes on the Nexus.

Honestly. I don't expect this to get any recognition from any admin higher than an OP.. But I just thought I'd throw it in as an idea as I heard several people complaining about how noone's posting events. I'd be happy to see this become a reality, but I don't believe that will happen. Reason for Un-PK:As I joined I'd decided I would continue the RP my friend and I had been doing before the server crash. He had told me where he was so we could continue it after he was finished. I had gone to that location and was OOCly standing there waiting when 2 men with pistols broke the door down, out of curiosity I OOCly walked in and watched the situation, my friend had then locked the door, and not a minute after me walking in he had been shot (Without a /me attempt) Then without me knowing it, he had pointed his pistol to me (Once again, not dowing a /me attempts, he just /me'd shooting me.) All in all, this was just me waiting for a new RP to finish while I waited for my friend, and I had gotten accidentally caught in it (In some ungodly way) I understand entirely if you cannot accept the appeal, but the 2 men doing this were Powergaming and including a (clearly) OOC character in IC RP.

I was playing this site's HL2RP server, and suddenly my Gmod froze. I went Ctrl Alt Delete, and closed it. Now whenever I try to find any server on any game supported by Valve, it always says "no games responded to your search query". The last time this happened I had to wait for the next update of the game to play. Help!
