As Anastas walked down the river he spotted a fallen tree that had crushed against the cliff's wall. It appeared to have fallen from the top of the cliff as there was a mess around the tree, many branches were around, some of them appeared to be burnt. What could have done those burn marks? An explosion from any resent combat, or just a lighting that stroke the tree's base and made it fall off from the cliff. He didn't know, he approached so see if there was any nuts or dead animal he could eat as dinner for that night. As he was looking around the tree he spotted one branch that was firmly stuck against the ground. Placing his hands around the branch he pulled, his leather gauntlets protected his skin from any lesions. As the branch came off from the ground Anastas stumbled back falling into the ground, as he was falling he maintained the branch between his hands in a firm way. He stood back and continue searching around for anything that could be useful. Some hours later he was back at his camp with the rest of his small gang, he did not mentioned the tree branch as he thought it was nothing important. The next day he was told to go towards the town and try to find some food he could take back home. He parted away into the town taking his backpack and leaving his oak tree branch at his camp.

-The cottage-

As he approached he spotted an old nearly destroyed cottage, he tought it would be wise to look around for any supplies in there. He climbed through a window and jumped into the house. As he was searching around he saw some nails hammered into the wall that used to hold a big portrait. That's when he had one of the best ideas since long time. With the help of his gauntlets he pushed the nails off from the wall and stored them in a small pocket in his backpack. He continued exploring the house, although he found nothing useful just dead rats and old food cans. He decided to continue on his mission for finding food at the town. As he walked out off the cottage he was facing what appeared to be a fence built up by hundreds of rocks, there were some outstanding sticks that had some barbed wire around them. Anastas retrieved some of this barbed wire and continue to the town.

-Back at the camp-

As Anastas returned back to his camp he threw the food into the food box and went directly to his little spot that was reserved for him. Gently placing his backpack at the side of the oak branch he searched for the nails and placed the first nail facing one of the tree branch face. Carefully he started hitting the nail with a rock until the pointed edge of the nail came off from the other side. He repeated this with the two nails that were left. He then took the barbed wire off from his backpack and began attaching it around the top of the tree branch with the help of the nails. He then stood up moving the stick around trying to find any weak points, after many tests he finally left it at the side of his backpack and left to eat with the rest of his company.

Perks
A melee weapon that can be used in combat.
Ability to defend himself with better results that if he would be using his bare hands.
He might be able to use it as a poor digging tool.

Defects
People that see him with the stick might not trust in him.
People might react in a hostile way as a man with a tree branch approaches towards them.
After carrying the stick for many time, he might get tired.
When running, he won't be as fast as he is when he does not has his stick.

What do you plan to do with these perks/defects?
I plan to enhance my character roleplay as to help other people with creating new and funny roleplaying experience. Mainly using it as a melee defense system although it wouldn't do much against people with body armor or people with fire weapons. Using it as different types of tools such as helping my character in digging holes in a faster way or using it as a support for walking when he gets injured.

Jacques had been hearing about a psychopath serial killer at the city. He meet some people that wanted to put an end to this killer, so he joined them. After some investigation they knew he was Irish and his last name was McCrearies. They had it all planned out, they were going to put an end to his monstrous actions. They were going to get him at his own home. After some time, they didn't find the man called McCrearies. They stopped waiting for him, and they all left wondering where was this man.

Jacques had been looking for this man, any information regarding him. He heard rumors that McCrearies had left to the outlands hopping that the CCA would stop looking for him. That's when he meet a man called Harris, he was going to help him on getting this man.

Jacques had been looking around the canals, trying to find any tunnel that could lead him to the outlands, he found a small tunnel at some dark place of the canals. Somehow he knew that, that was the place he was looking for.

Harris had not showed for some time, Jacques was anxious. He started walking around D6 looking for him, he entered a room that had a horrible smell. He opened a container that was full of human organs. Jacques stepped back covering his nose looking at it, a man came into the room looking at the organs. They both walked out of there and got to meet each others. This man was called Tyrone, after Jacques telling his plans to Tyrone, Tyrone was willing to travel into the outlands with him. He knew how to fish, and some other good stuff. So, he was going to need him.
Some ours later they both took all food and water they could into his bags and went into that tunnel Jacques had found.

After a long walk through the sewers of C45 they both saw a light at the end of the tunnel. They ran towards it yelling in happiness. They came out and found themselves on a large road. There was a sign that said 'Belles'n they followed the road and found a town. They looked on it, but they found nothing. So they continued and found a small camp with a pretty big lake. Tyrone went to fish as he was the one that knew how to fish while Jacques made a fire and took some of the fruit he had on his backpack out. They ate, and went to sleep.

They woke up one cold morning, they had a talk and ate the last food they had. They both took separated ways, Tyrone was going to look for some supplies and Jacques was going to look for the man called McCrearies. They both accorded on going back to the camp at 4:00 pm. With no luck on finding McCrearies, Jacques came back to the camp finding Tyrone sitting on the grass and wearing a COTA vest. Jacques was amazed at what his friend had bought. Tyrone also showed him some shotgun shells, some SMG ammo and some food. They both ate and talk, when the clock ticked to 5:19 pm. Tyrone old Jacques about a trading post he had found on the road. They both went there and Jacques meet a new man called Marlow. He thought Marlow was a good person, that he would never have any problems with him. Many people were coming and going from that trading post, some of the looking for food, most of them looking for ammo. After some chat, Tyrone and Jacques continued exploring the outlands, they had heard about a bunker. So, they wanted to go to that bunker. They traveled there and meet a girl who had some pistol ammo, luckily this girl was mentally disturbed or something ,so she traded all her ammo for one single flashlight to Tyrone. They continued to the bunker and found out that there were no people on it.
Jacques had been wearing some nice elegant shoes he obtained at the city, but those shoes were not made for traveling long distances... He had to get some boots. They both found a old storage room with lots of locked boxes. They opened one using a old metal they had, the box was full of useless stuff. Toilet paper, old shoes and clothes. Although there was a pair of black boots. Jacques took them and threw his shoes into his backpack putting the boots on his feet. Suddenly a alarm got triggered, they decided on walking out from the bunker before anything bad happened.

Jacques woke up, noticing that Tyrone was gone. He found a note saying 'I'll go and get some toys, you go and find McCrearies'. He ate some potatoes he had buy on the Marlows trading post. He went out looking for McCrearies. Some ours later he found Tyrone near the Marlows Traiding post, this time he had a flash bang, and a SMG. Jacques told Tyrone that he had meet some people that told him that McCrearies was back at the city, so he decided to help Tyrone on getting the supplies. After talking with many people at the trading post, Tyrone managed to exchange some pistol ammo for a shotgun with out shells. Luckily Tyrone already had some shotgun shells. Tyrone was ready to go, he had all the gear he wanted a SMG a shotgun and a Kevlar and a Flash grenade. Jacques had nothing... Just those boots he took from the box back at the bunker. Tyrone gave his flash to Jacques he said "Try and exchange it for a pistol. Call it through the radio, 133.5". Jacques took his radio and changed the frequency then radioed 'I'm trading a flash grenade and some medical supplies for a single pistol." Suddenly, a woman's voice could be heard "I'll trade it. I don't have ammo for it, so I'll trade it. Meet me at the Inn".
Jacques and Tyrone moved to the Inn, were they found this woman. She had pretty golden eyes and a Gashmask with some goggles. They made the exchange and left the Inn. While walking down the road, they saw a strange thing falling from the sky landing on a cliff that was near from them. They both decided to go and investigate. When they got to the cliff, many threes were burning, there were small headcrab traces all over the place, they knew that it was a head crab canister. They stepped back, that's when a headcrab jumped on Jacques arm biting it. Tyrone took his SMG out killing the headcrab. A second headcrab appeared out of no where jumping on Tyrone's Kevlar, he was pushed away. The headcrab jumped once more this time landing on Tyrone's arm and biting it. He kicked the headcrab out and leaned against a three. While Tyrone and the headcrab were fighting, Jacques was healing his wounds on his arm that was caused by the headcrab. He took something for the pain and proceed on healing Tyrone's arm. He also gave him something for the pain. As soon as Tyrone stood up, Jacques heard something behind him, he quickly turned around watching as the headcrab jumped towards him, he reacted in a fast way pushing the headcrab out of the way, he took his backpack throwing all the stuff inside of it. He threw the backpack on top of the crab taking it as prisoner. They both took the headcrab back to the town, on their way Tyrone told Marlow through the radio. They both were going to see each others at the Inn. When they arrived, the place was crowded. Marlow had brought one of his friends. It was the girl with the Golden eyes and gas mask. Jacques threw the headcrab to the bed. With out a warning, Marlow took a syringe out then stabbed the headcrab with it saying "This will relax it, don't worry."
Jacques didn't liked this, but he letted Marlow do what he had to do. They took the headcrab in a cage back to Marlow's post.  While they were walking down, marlow and his friend (Golden eyes female) started saying "Anyone but Marlow and Quinn needs to leave. We are going to heal the headcrab." Jacques and Tyrone did not liked this as they struggled on getting a living headcrab. After an argue they all had, they decided to step back and see how Marlow was 'saving' the headcrab from apparently nothing. Some minutes later the girl approched Tyrone stabbing him using a blade she had on her boot, Jacques quickly moved to their position taking his pistol out before she could do something. Tyrone was stabbed in his foot. Jacques began yelling and pointing the pistol against the girl. They all argued for a long time, the girl was about to die by Jacques hands. That's when Marlow asked her to go to the inn. He needed his supplies. Tyrone patched his foot with some bio-gel and some bandages. Jacques and the girl known as Quinn walked to the Inn, they were going to take Marlow's supplies. They took them with no difficulties, while they were heading back, Tyrone radioed 'Marlow killed the Headcrab'. Jacques looks back at Quinn saying "That's it. I told you, if the headcrab dies. You and Marlow will die." He pointed his gun at her, but she quickly jumped out of the way running back to the inn. Jacques shoot two bullets failing. He chased her towards the inn, were he was ambushed by Quinn, he was stabbed by her shoe with the blade on it, he had been stabbed in the leg. He stepped back pointing at her. A man with a shotgun appeared, Quinn shouted "Kill him beans! He is trying to kill me!" Jacques sais "No! You brought this on yourself! You took my headcrab against from me then your fucking friend murdered him!" Tyrone showed up, 'Beans' was poinitng at Jacques with a shotgun, many people appeared, they all seemed Quinn's friends. They all stood around Jacques. 'Beans' told Jacques to walk away, he didn't want to kill Jacques. Jacques did it as he knew he was surrounded by Quinns friends. As soon as he was at a safe distance he started running, he could see some of Quin's friends chasing him. As Jacques was fast, he lost them on the forest, he then met up with Tyrone at the bunker, they had a chat, they tried to fix things over the radio but Quinn didn't accept. Tyrone knew Quinn and many people on the outlands, he told jacques that the best thing to do, was running back to the city. He agreed. Jacques changed to his old shoes and took his shirt off and painted his pants with mud, that way no one would recognize him, as many people were looking for him. They both ran back to the tunnel. Tyrone took his SMG, shotgun and Kevlar with him, as it was many weight, he gave his SMG to Jacques. Jacques took his pistol and Tyrone's SMG. They both went back to the tunnel that brought them there.
As they saw the light of the tunnel, they started moving faster, they came out from the tunnel, they were all dirty with mud and nasty things. They were finally back at the city.

//How did Tyrone obtained his Kevlar and SMG?

Wandering on the outlands, after talking with French Tyrone began to scavenge, searching for ammo, medical supplies, anything he could use. He climbed up a small cliff, he started at a rock, there was something buried at the side of the rock. he smiled and started digging, he found out that it was 9mm ammo. Later he found some shotgun ammo near a small bridge...Staying to search for goods he found some more pistol ammo near a house, after some time he found some SMG ammo near a rock along with some old clothes, there was also blood stained on the rock. He climbed one tower and there he found some more shotgun ammo, than we went to marlow’s camp, at marlow’s camp he saw a mysterious man , he traded  some pistol ammo to the man in exchange of a SMG... Sometime later he was talking with a woman and with "French", he decided to see if the woman wanted to trade her pistol ammo for his flashlight, she actually accepted... At the same day he found a woman(I not telling her name because of various reasons) that wanted some pistol ammo than, he decided to trade it for her  scrapped COTA  vest...Later on the same day he found some more pistol ammo near a house that was near the bunker, he guarded the ammo for some time till he found a woman (another woman) on marlow’s camp and decided to see if she wanted trade her shotgun for pistol, she accepted...On the next day, Tyrone climbed one rope, he began scavenging, he could not belive it, he found more SMG ammo bellow some pilled rocks that had a cross on them. He took the SMG ammo and headed back to the camp trying to find Jacques.

Back on 1989 Jacques Laux used to be a member of the GIGN (Groupe d'intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale, by it's name in French).This group is trained to perform counter-terrorist and hostage rescue missions in France or anywhere else in the world. It was created in 1973. On 1990 Jacques was sent to a special mission to a French state called Var, intelligence had information about a small terrorist group getting a weapon shipment at a old Church called 'La Visite'. When he arrived to the church with his men, the church was empty; there were no shipment and no terrorist. Jacques order his men to search the place for any suspicious artifacts or anything that was linked to a terrorist group. As soon as they all got separated he heard someone shouting followed by some gun shots. He took cover and picked trough a corner; he saw some terrorist pointing at his men. Jacques stood up aiming his FAMAS rifle at the terrorist, quickly a terrorist started shooting at the GIGN soldier, as soon as Jacques saw this he started shooting at the terrorist. His whole team was killed by the terrorists, it was all a trap; Jacques was the only one left from his team. He crawled towards a desk taking cover; a terrorist saw him and started shooting towards the desk. A bullet got into Jacque's liver causing him extreme pain. He took one of his flashbangs and threw it towards the terrorists, as soon as it flashed the terrorist he ran out of the church applying some instant ice on his bullet hole. He threw himself into a old canal calling for help as he was loosing a lot of blood. He fainted some minutes later.

About 30 minutes passed and a whole new team arrived to the church, the terrorists where gone. They found Jacques team killed then found Jacques laying on a canal almost dying. They took Jacques to a doctor and took his bullet out and patched his wound.The french government saw an opportunity on this. They faked his death. The government told his family that he was murdered by the terrorist, soon all the newspapers and communication media were talking about this incident. Jacques Laux had no identity left. He was like a ghost. No records about him, no anything, accordingly to the government and the entire world, he was already dead. As soon as he woke up, they told him about this, he was taken into a top-secret government agency called T.O.P.S. He was trained under the sneaking abilities and Spying abilities. He was becoming a secret Spy that no one knew, as he had no records left.  Some years later he was one of the best T.O.P.S. agents, he became also an instructor, he taught the new recruits hand to hand combat and many other things.
He was given many different missions all around the world, he was known as 'French'.

-During the Seven hours war-

In 1996 T.O.P.S. was given some information by the French intelligence about a new 'weapon' that China was developing. They sent one of their best men, 'French'. His mission was to go to a place called Anxi at China.

-Anxi, China 1996 0200 hours-
Jacques 'French' Laux was approaching to what looked to be a Chinese abandoned factory. The factory was surrounded by forest and there was a small river crossing the forest. He entered the old factory and noticed a lot of old machinery; he started investigating the whole factory. He found a door that had some Chinese letters '?'. He pushed the door and found a giant metal door that had the numbers '01-04' painted on top of it. He noticed to guards at the entrance of the door, so he took a small object that looked like a normal pen and pointed it towards one of the guards. He triggered the object shooting a small dart that hit the guard’s neck. The guard quickly fall down to the ground distracting the second guard. As the guard approached to the guard that was on the floor Jacques sneaked through his back and broke the guard’s neck. He opened one small door that lead into a underground corridor that lead into a giant underground base. He was armed with a Tactical USP.45, a combat knife, a 30 cm steel wire and several tranquilizers. He opened a door that said "Authorized personal only", he stepped into the room without making any sound, and suddenly a figure came out from the shadows quickly hitting Jacques's cheek making him go unconscious.

-Anxi, China 1996 ? ? ? ? Hours-

Jacques woke up tied to a chair, he had a bag on his head, his gear was gone. A man with a black suit came into the room saying some words in Chinese. Jacques stayed quiet without saying a thing, a man was behind him equipped with a famas rifle. The man that just came in started talking in English "Where are you from? Japan? United States? Uhh!?" Jacques stayed quiet trying not to rebel his French accent. The Chinese man stared at him for a moment, he took Jacques combat knife away from his sleeve saying "Don't worry, we will make you talk." The Chinese man walked out of the room, as soon as he did that, the man behind Jacques (The one with the famas rifle) Pushed Jacques making him fall to the ground along with the chair, he putted the cotton bag back to his head walking out of the room leaving him alone.

-Anxi, China ? ? ? ? Hours - Next day.
Jacques woke up, he was all covered in sweat and her wrists were burning because of the ties he had. A tall man with one white eyes and a scar crossing his left eyes was staring at him. The man raised his right hand showing to Jacques some small black tweezers. “Who do you work with?” Said the man in a clear english accent. Jacques kept silence not showing any kind of fear. “Alright, we’ve got all the time of the world. You won’t get out from this place unless you tell me who sent you.” The man with the tweezers pushed Jacques to the ground squeezing the tweezers. The man placed the edge of the tweezers of Jacques upper lip saying “There will be no more chances. I will only repeat once more. Who sent you?” The MI-6? The NRS? The SVR? What about our friends from the CIA?” Said the man with a clear English accent. He closed the tweezers causing Jacques a lot of pain. As soon as he stopped a loud sound could be heard out of the room, he turned around leaving the tweezers in front of Jacques and saw that the emergency light was on. He walked out of the room and told one of the Chinese guards to stay guarding Jacques. While the man was talking with the Chinese guard Jacques pushed the tweezers with his head and hid the tweezers behind him. While the Chinese guard was waiting just outside of the room Jacques reached for the tweezers and started cutting the ties with the part of the tweezers used for cutting wires. He slowly stood up and sneaked through the Chinese guard’s back. He putted his hands against the man’s head quickly breaking his neck. Jacques took the guard’s keys and the gun, he checked the clip. The clip had 9 bullets. Jacques continued walking until the end of the corridor and found a door with the letters ‘ ’. He opened the door using the guard’s keys and found a room with lots of computers and a locker containing Jacques equipment. He took his equipment and checked all the computers for any useful information. He found some information about some secret Chinese base located under the mountains of the region known as ‘Hami’at the north of China. He ran out of the underground base and came out through what looked to be a principal entrance, a giant metal door (Like does giant blasts doors you can see at Portal 2). The forest was around the base, there was a big strange machine with several strange letters lying on the floor, there were fire all around of it along with many men. It looked like a war zone. Jacques continued and walked into the forest. There was a strange silence on the forest; there were no sounds, not even a sound of a flying bird or any river. Jacques continued walking for two hours until a giant ship came flying out of nowhere, as soon as it passed Jacques the giant ship turned back and drop three small pods. The pods landed about thirty meters away from Jacques, he stared at the pods. Some seconds later the pods were opened and three strange figures came out from them, one of the figures was about two meters and had three long legs. This strange figure made a loud sound and started shooting towards Jacques. Jacques jumped taking cover in a tree, the two other figures started speaking in a strange dialect. Suddenly the figures started advancing towards Jacques. Jacques noticed this and started running in the opposite direction shooting his gun. He ran out of bullets and threw his gun and continued running. While Jacques was running he felt into a hole that was covered with plants leaves. He hitted his head against a branch falling down almost unconscious. The three strange figures passed the hole without noticing Jacques. Jacques felt unconscious. Two hours later he woke and, it was night he climbed out of the hole and checked then climbed a tree to see his surroundings. At the distance, he saw a small village about one hour away from his place. He walked towards the village. When he arrived he found out that there was one of those strange big ships at the entrance of the village and many other figures like the ones that chased Jacques through the forest having a group of civilians as hostages. Jacques knew that this was no army from any other nation, so he sneaked into a destroyed house and changed his clothes for normal civilian clothes. He lefts his boots with him and hid his AO Mason knife in his boot. He tied around his leg a steel wire he had and threw away his tranquilizers. He came out of the house raising his hands, as soon as the creatures saw him they took him with the rest of the civilians and tied him.
After the Seven hours war.
Jacques was taken to one of the citadels, the combine couldn’t find anything about his past so they never knew he worked for the government or was one of the best secret spies of France. Jacques told them their really name and told them that he was from Italy. The combine gave him his CID and his new clothes. They gave him a new identity. They actually never took Jacques boots as they thought that they were normal boots and Jacques (as he was a very good convincing person because of his training.) told them that he would need does boots for working.

Being able to teach responsible players some fighting techniques.
Having a chance to defend myself.
If ever getting a fire gun, being able to use it and taking care of it.

People might want ti kill my as they might see me as a threat.
If the combine would know my secret identity, I would get on the BOL list.
I would need to use 'French' instead of my real name.
Being a very paranoid person.

Improve my role-playing abilities and having the good and responsible players learn something from my character. Also creating a lot of passive role-playing as Jacques wouldn't want people knowing about his abilities. Taking care of someone's fire guns and trying to solve problems with this characters abilities.

I was told this by a ex-super admin who's name is shes (He used to have another name but I can't remember it right now.) "But mom! It wasn't my fault! Javier pushed me of from the bike!" -Daeny
"I'm not going to sew them for you! It's time you wrog up! I'm tired of sewing your clothes, from now on, you are going to patch your own clothes." Said Daenys mother.
"Mom! But I don't know how to sew! What am I going to do?!"
"Well, that's why you have a mother like me, I am going to teach you how to sew your own pants, that way I wont fix them up again, it will be under your responsability." Said Daeny's mother with an annoyed gesture.
**Daenys mother went to get some needles and some sewwing strings, she then took Daeny into his dad's working place**
"Daeny, it's time you grow up, take this needle and this string." Said Daeny's mother while she stared at her.
**Daeny took the needle as she looked down to her jeans saying "Well, this can't be that difficult."**
**She took the needle down to her pants, gently she inserted the needle on one side of her pants, as she did that, her mom yelled "Daeny! Don't forget to put the string at the back of the needle" Daeny stopped for a moment "Ah yes, how could I be so stupid..." She grabbed the string with two fingers, she inserted the string into the needle's head. "What now?" Said Daeny holding the string and the needle with one hand "Now you make a knot so the string doesn't comes out." Daeny used both hands for making a knot, as soon as she finished making the knot she pulled the needle back into one side of her pants this time she did not stopped. As her mother patiently waited, Daeny continued passing the needle over her pants untill they got fix**
"Woa... This was really easy... How come I've never tried it!" Said Daeny holding her pants up at the air in sign of victory.
"Hey, relax, you just fixed some pants... That's nothing comparred with making clothes..." Said her mom as she smilled.
"Well then! Teach me! I want to know all of it! I want to know how can you make clothes!"
**Her mother nodded standing from the chair, she walked out from the room leaving Daeny alone. Af two minutes her mother was back with several fabric pieces and bigger needles with more strings. "Today you are going to make your own pants..." Said her mother as she smiled." The fabrics she brought were pink and blue. "Pink and Blue hu? Well, I hope this pants look really good..." said Daeny with a big smile on her face. "First of, you must size yourself, well, in this case. I am the one who's getting your sizes. Come on, stand up!" Said her mother as she dragged a meter out from her pocket. Daeny stood up waiting for her mother to size her, after she had all the size, she took a seat and took a deaph breath. "Alright mom, time for the fun part!" Her mother nodded taking some scissors from the desk that was at her side. "Alright now... We cut..." Said her mother taking one side of the fabric handing the scissors to Daeny "I mean, you're the one who's gonna cut..." Her mom chuckled.
"Alright, alright... Please. hold it still." Said Daeny taking the scissors and studying the fabric piece. Daeny started cutting and sewing making some mistakes, she was a quick learned, so there was no big problem making her pants. "Mom, I really don't like them..." Said Daeny looking down at the pants she just made with help of her mother. "No! They are briliant! Come Dae! Look at them! I am really impressed of your skills!" Said her moment with a exited face. **

**One night at the Safe heaven, Daeny was taking a break from the work, while she got this crazy idea of making a black hood with a cape attacked to it and a knife leather sheath. She stood up and climbed the desk saying to everyone in the room "Maybe have your attention please?!" Suddenly, almost all the citizens that got free food and supplies from Daeny looked up at her saying "We hear you." #Alright, alright people. I have a task for you! Well, it is more of a contest. I am looking for any black fabric and any piece of leather. The one who brings me more fabric or leather will a regard!" Everyman that was listening started talking, after 5 minutes of discussion everyone ran out of the Safe heaven place saying "I'm the one that will win!". Daeny went back to her bed trying to get some rest. About one to two hours people started ariving, some of them had nothing in their hands, some of them had some black fabric, others had some white or any other colour fabric, one of them even had some black paint for painting the fabric, each citizen gave Daeny as much as they brought because she was really kind with them, Daeny gave rewards to each citizen that brought something usefull, at the end she notticed no one had brought any ñeather "Oh well, I guess leather is really ea-" The door opened and a guy with a leather rectangle on his hnad was yelling "I got it! I got it! I win!" He ran across the room throwing the leather piece on top of the fabric "Woaa! Where did you got the leather?!" Said Daeny with an amazed face. "Well, pretty easy, while everyone went into their appartments and looking on each corner of the streets, I ran down to the canals and remeber there was two destroyed cars in there. Well, I looked inside of them and saw that the seats where made out of leather! It was quiet easy, I just had to rip it off with someone elses knife." Said the man who speaks in a very quick way.**

All the people left the Safe heaven living Daeny and her friends in there, that's when she looked in her backpack for her needle and some string, took any black fabric she got and white fabric she got in case she had to paint it with the clothes paint the man brought to her. She draw a hood on the black fabric, she cutted it with her knife as presice ash she could then cutted a part black fabric for making the cape. After she was finished cutting, she sewed the hood and the cape togheter making them into one piece, she reinforced all the edged with all the string she had, after cutting the fabric, she looked for the finest fabric the people bought to her.

She took the leather the man brought her, she got the sizes of her knife, draw the shape of the knife all over the leather, she then cutted it with her knife untill she got the product she wanted. She ran back to her backpack looking inside of it for anything that could help her weld the leather together, she found five small nails laying at the end of her backpack, she took four nails out placing each nail at one edge of the leather piece, she folded some edge, took her hammer she already had (Rped getting it). She hammered the nails untill the leather edges were really strong, took her needle and ask one of his friends for any string, as soon as she got a small string, she started sewing some parts of the leather untill she had a nice knife sheath.

A cape with a hood that would make her more difficult to recognize.
A knife sheat that could make her drag her knife faster and easier.

I plan to have better experience in roleplaying, and mainly disguess Daeny from many other people, as she is getting to be recognized on the slums.

This is how I got the scanner:

It all started around 11 am 25/02/2012 when two guys named Cycle and Kane shot at a scanner, that's when I took the scanner head and dragged it into my camp or hiding place, then I started studying the scanner:

(Notice I removed all OOC chat so it did not look messy)
(Second notice, by scanner battery or scanner energy cell I mean they are the same things)
(Third notice, I already had a scanner battery that was approved by some admin, I really can't remember his name)

** Daeny Morrison carefully plugs it into the battery she just found

** Daeny Morrison quickly crouches pluging the purple wire down of the combine terminal leaving the old scanner energy cell hidden
** Daeny Morrison runs off the area
** Daeny Morrison climbs down the ladder, as she lands a "Cack" can be heard.

Daeny Morrison says "Well, atleast I could connected it. Now, I need to wait about 3 days so it charges up."

I'm currently still thinking on what to do whit the engine, as for the battery I can give a lot of different uses, such as giving power to a old flashlight or bulb many little things like that.

Hello, and welcome to my post.
In my year and a half experience of playing on different Half-Life servers, I have learned that citizens do not like what the CCA (obviously) give as food, the same whit the water and many other things.
In this topic I will be covering a guide to urban survival (many things can be used on the outlands server).
This topic will contain the following:

Getting food
Medicinal Plants
Basic first-aid courses for your citizen
Avoiding the CCA
Can you trust in everyone?



Getting Food
Im sure everyone likes free stuff, the CCA give you the food for free in exchange that you will obey them and help them get what they want... Although the food they give you will not contain any nutrients nor any vitamins you body needs, you will be always weak if you eat them.
To stay healthy a Human must eat proteins along whit many other things.

A good way on getting this nutrients that your body needs would be by hunting, although everyone knows hunting is not an easy task, hunting requires patiense and experience. You may start looking for rats down on the sewers, look for their hidding spots, (mostly in places that are dark) studie their movements, try and learn any kind of traps.

You cant go down to the sewers whit out any source of light, thats why you will need a flashlight, thay are pretty easy to get, just ask people.
Once your down on the sewers, youll have to spend some time down there Rp'ing getting information, such as when do they come out  of their hidding spotts, maybe what noises scares them.

After you get to know more about your little rodents friends you may start thinking of a plan you can use to get them.
You may use any combine food, that will attract the rat's attention. BAMMM! You just captured one rat whit your little trap that you made, you may make does traps whit some rope and any bucket or box you may find laying on the streets.

After getting your rat, make sure you kill it, rats may have any strange disease. After they are dead you must remove the skin whit any sharp object you may have, after doing that you WILL have to cook it if you do not want to get horrible sick.

EXAMPLE:
**Oscar Duerre stands on the dark corner waiting for a prey
**Some rodent noises can be heard some meters away from oscar
**Oscar Duerre Slowly turns his head to where the sounds come, he notices a little shape walking into his bait
**Oscar Duerre gets ready to pull the string of his deadly rat trap.
**The little rodent notices the bait, quickly runs over it and takes it. The rodent starts eating the little combine food he just find
**Oscar Duerre Pulls the string making a bucket fall down trapting the rodent
** The rodent starts making noises "IIIII- IIIIII-IIIIII"       (LOLOLOL)
**Oscar Duerre heavily shakes the bucket untill he stops hearing the rat yell

And then you would have to go and remov the skin, then cook it and so on.

Medicinal Plants
(This part is mainly for the outlands)
There are many plants that may help a lot your character, plants that may cure your flu or they could also save your life from an infection.

Im going to explain five different plants that you may find them really easy out there on the forest (some of them may be found in the city)

Turmeric Root: This root can be found near lakes, you can grind it down into dust and use it as a antibacterial agent, useful in disinfecting cuts and burns, or as an antiiflamatorie medicine

Skullcap Flower: This Purple flower may be found on the forest, you may combine it whit your food, this will give your food much more vitamins. (It us used as a food supplement)

Mullein leaves: This leaves may be used to fight your flu, just put them in some hot water and make some tea. (If your character drinks more than 3 cups of this tea per day, he may die)

White Flowers: You may find this on the forest and in the cities, this flowers can be used for aching bones

Pycnoporus fungus: You may find this mainly on fallen trees or laying down there on the grass, this funguses have a red-orage color, they could be used to fight the skin or wounds infections.

Basic first-aid courses for your citizen
What would you do if one of your friends falls down from a ladder, hell even from any roof (he would probably die, but anyways). Always carry whit you a pair of bandages and some water.

If your friend, or you get any bone break try not moving, get some hard sticks and put them on each side of the broken bone, then tie them whit your bandages.

What to do in case a deadly spider bites you? I dont know... guess your fucked...

Damn, my friend just cutted his arm@leg! Dont worry, you can always use a bandage to stop the blood from running down trough some veins, you can even stop an hemorrhage.

What if my friend gets shoot? Try to get some reall help, if theres no help arround try to stop the hemorrhage, then carefully try to get the bullet out whit out making a bigger damage. I highly recomend some bio-gel (the little medkits combine have), you may apply it to the wound, it will help the victim by getting that wound clean and it could also be used as a sedative.

Several bruising all over your body? Do not touch them, they may get infected, put some ice in them, if you do not have ice some water.
Always remeber your Turmeric root that can be used as a antiiflamatorie medicine.

Avoiding the CCA
Really simple, do not get into trouble, or stay away from them.

Can you trust in everyone?
Never ever trust in anyone, the only person you can count on is you. If someone ever tells you to go into the slums whit you, say NO, or FUCK OFF.
78% of the time someone tells you to go into the slums whit him/her is just to assault you, they can even kill you.
The rest (22%) of the time its just a new player wanting you to go whit him into the slums or to talk about the combine, like "Hey, I really hate them ,we should get weapons and kill them all".
