Just a thought, since I've seen a few admins who have made posts where it's hard to understand because of word choice and misplacement, alongside spelling errors. I can understand if an admin speaks English as a secondary language or such, but some of it seems excessive. Just a friendly request, since it will give CG a better first impression for users.
-
You could say the same thing about most of the users of the internet. We can't just tell our admins: "Type better", it doesn't work like that.
-
It would still be better to have improved grammar at least.
-
When outside of spam, I always use proper grammar. I don't understand why so many people have trouble using proper grammar. Heck, I think that ALL people should be enforced to at least TRY to use proper grammar.
-
Not ALL of us are perfect in typing/writing English (talking about the curriculum) like I'm more of a Chemistry and Mathematics guy and I think that English and History is a waste of time for me. I doubt that people will change so get used to people going like "Stop! You will be kill-ed."
-
If you can read it, it should be fine.
There wont be an enforcement if you can read it, your brain.. your eyes are trained on reading and understanding these things
-
I'm saying that all people should at least ATTEMPT to type with proper grammar.
Outside of Spam, of course.

Oh so you think that no one does that?
Everyone just talks like shit?
This is a dumb suggestion/thread IMO.
Mainly because what Somone77 has said.

So it doesn't matter the spelling nor grammar.

If you have a problem reading poorly written posts and topics, improve your English.

Just a side-note. That wasn't actually a study at Cambridge. Never happened. And Cambridge actually ended up doing a study to disprove that theory, and it was successful. It is by no means true that in all circumstances you can read words with disarranged letters when the first and last letters are the same, especially when the words are more complex.

Im guessing your referring to me ;)
Well i cant really do much. Im from Denmark and English is our second language.
Ive not heard anyone saying that my post not understandable. I know there are spelling errors but ive never heard about any of my posts not being understandable.
-
Me no speaker da english :P
Seriously English is my first language and i suck balls at it.
-
I never said I cant read improper grammar, quite the opposite.
It just annoys the hell out of me when people don't even attempt proper grammar.

Well, you have probably never been on some weird ass MW2 Montage on YouTube. It reeks with kids that can't type. It makes me so.. so mad.

Sadly, I know all too well how badly people type.

As long as I can understand what they're writing, then it isn't a problem. Many admins have English as their 2nd language. (Including me, I'm from Denmark, although I'm not an admin. I try to do my best and that's what matters.)
-
This shouldn't be a problem. Its the internet, not book writing.

OP was talking about the forums, not HL2RP.

I actually do mean HL2RP too.

Exactly, I don't mind if a word or two are misspelled.
